The maximum flight time of the aircraft is measured at a constant flying speed of 21.6 kph in a windless environment at sea level, with camera parameters set to 1080p/30fps, video mode off, and from 100% battery level until 0%. Data is for reference only. Always pay attention to reminders on the goggles screen during your flight. 9. DO NOT connect the charger, connect external devices, or insert/remove any batteries during power accumulation. 10. The 13km transmission distance can only be achieved under the FCC standard when measured without interference in an open outdoor environment. The above data shows the farthest communication range for one- way, non-return flights under each standard. During your flight, pay attention to RTH reminders on the goggles screen. 11. Measured using 1080p/100fps video transmission, tested outdoors in an open interference-free environment. 12. DJI Avata 2 is factory set to automatically perform Return to Home (RTH) if the drone signal is disconnected, and users can change the setting to hover or land before takeoff according to the actual flight scenario. 13. If the 5.8GHz frequency band is not available (such as in Japan), screen sharing to the smartphone via Wi-Fi is not available. To achieve this function, a wired connection is recommended. Before flying, check and confirm local radio and aviation laws and regulations. 14. Tested in an open outdoor environment free of interference. The video transmission distance varies with the operating environment. 15. The power loop feature has a fixed radius and speed, which cannot be altered. The loop radius is set at 5 meters, and the minimum effective height is 1.5 meters.

The media could not be loaded. I just got to fly the DJI Avata 2, and dude, it’s so much fun. If you’ve ever been curious about flying FPV drones but felt kinda intimidated by all the gear and setup, this one’s for you. So, first off, it comes with these goggles (DJI Goggles 3) that are super comfy and give you that full-on immersive flight vibe — like, you feel like you’re actually in the sky. And instead of the typical drone controller, it uses this motion-sensing thing called the RC Motion 3. You basically point where you want to go. It sounds gimmicky, but trust me, it just works. After a few minutes, you’re swooping around like you’ve done this for years. The camera on it is insane for how small the drone is — it shoots in 4K, and the footage looks chef’s kiss. Super wide angle too, so everything feels big and dramatic. It even does slow motion if you want to get those buttery cinematic shots. And it’s got a ton of internal storage, which is awesome if you’re like me and forget to bring SD cards half the time. What really got me though is how beginner-friendly it is. There’s this Easy ACRO mode that basically lets you do flips and rolls just by pressing a button. It makes you look like a pro, even if you’ve never flown an FPV drone before. And if you're worried about crashing — don’t. It’s built like a little tank with propeller guards and all, so it can take a few hits while you're getting the hang of it. The only thing that might be a small downside is that the simulator support isn’t amazing yet, so if you’re someone who wants to practice a lot virtually first, that’s something to keep in mind. But honestly, it’s forgiving enough that you could learn on the fly (literally). If you’ve been on the fence about getting into drones or FPV in general, the Avata 2 makes it feel way less scary and way more fun.
