What an amazing drone. So easy to control. Amazing picture quality. And so handy, I use this to check my roof after major wind storms and to see if the gutters need cleaning. I fly it by the river to watch the eagles fish. Also use it for predator control, chasing foxes away from chicken coop. Flight times are good, just depends on what you are doing. Turned off obstacle avoidance for more speed and ended up flying backwards into a tree while chasing a fox. I used the find my drone feature that flashes the lights and emits a beeping tone. Located drone quickly in a huge stand of trees. Expected to find a mangled wreck. Nope! Cracked plastic on one of the camera support arms and some banged up prop blades. Replaced prop blades, epoxyed the crack, recalibrated camera and away it went. Built like a tank. Flight controls are fairly intuitive and easy to use. The obstacle avoidance (when used) does a great job on larger items, doesn't see small tree limbs or power lines. Don't ask how I know this. So, over all this is an amazing drone that makes you want to go bigger and badder. But, alas, I am poor, so I will stick with this, and enjoy the heck out of it. ... show more

  • Buy this one it's the first worth your money drone.
Style: Mini 4 Pro (DJI RC 2)
Range is pretty good if there is nothing in the line of sight I between the remote and the drone. It is fairly fast compared with other camera drones but compared to a FPV drone slow. The pictures are great compared with a mini SE or mini 2. Turns are pretty quick sport mode. The screen on the remote is great compared to using your phone as a screen. The screen is bright enough to see it in the sunlight. However twice now I have upgraded the the firm ware that the remote suggests I install and it has rendered my drone unusable. Luckily I had bought the insurance with it and they have fixed it. Buy the insurance with it. Great drone I would skip the cup to the 4 pro to start with in the beginning cause it is the first one that is worth the money. Good for beginners aswell. ... show more

  • This is an amazing drone
Style: Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo Plus(DJI RC 2)
I've flown all manner of drones, including several DJI drones. This is by far the best, even better than the more expensive ones. It's marketed for "beginners" but that's only to get people to spend money on other "high end" drones so they can say they have a "professional" drone. If you're unable to take professional videos with this drone you are not a professional. I wish people didn't believe the marketing. This drone IS good for beginners, since it does have obstacle sensing in all directions. However it is capable of VERY good quality video and images. It has advanced flight features and just as many options as some of the drones twice or three times the price. I got the Fly More Kit with Plus batteries, I can comfortably fly an hour while recording 4k (on three batteries). I would encourage anyone to purchase this drone. I haven't really put its range to the test, but I've taken it close to the batteries range. I've flown it out a little over 4 miles away and didn't lose a single bar of signal strength. I flew it back and still landed with 30% battery. I also took a 4k recording the whole trip to see how that would affect the battery but I had plenty left on landing. If you do buy it, here's my suggestion, buy the Fly More kit, you'll be disappointed when your battery is drained because it's so fun to fly. See if you can get it on payments if the price is a bit out of your range for a lump sum purchase. I also bought insurance (YOU HAVE ONLY 48 HOURS ONCE THE DRONE IS POWERED ON TO BUY INSURANCE), I bought 2-year coverage, which includes water damage or flyaways, keep in mind that if the drone is lost it will cost you about $235 and they will send you a brand new one. I also bought 1 extra battery, since the case holds 3 and the drone holds 1, so I have 4 in total, with the extra battery I can fly for 1hour and 40minutes. This is not a BEGINNER drone, it is GOOD for beginners because of the obstacle avoidance. The only down side is that it feels a little plasticy, AKA cheap. However when you fly it, it's anything but. It handles wind very well for its size. Don't expect to fly in major wind though, use your best judgement. ... show more

  • Fantastic Drone with a Few Learning Curves
Style: Mini 4 Pro (DJI RC 2)
I absolutely love my DJI Mini 4 Pro! This drone is incredibly easy to use and delivers stunning 4K photos and videos, making it a great choice for both beginners and seasoned aerial photographers. Its lightweight design (under 0.549 lbs/249 g) adds to its portability, and the flight time of about 34 minutes is impressive for a drone of this size. A word of advice: take the time to thoroughly learn all the features. While the drone is user-friendly, it has a lot of advanced functionality that can be a bit overwhelming at first. I learned this the hard way when I launched from a boat. As the drone's battery began to get low, it attempted to execute its Return to Home (RTH) function. Unfortunately, because we were moving, the RTH path nearly led it into a lake! Despite that close call, the overall performance and ease of use make the DJI Mini 4 Pro a fantastic investment. With a little practice, you’ll be capturing breathtaking aerial footage with confidence. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • No regrets after almost 2 years
Style: Mini 4 Pro (DJI RC 2)
Ive owned many DJI drones. (Starting with the original Phantom) While I wont get into the politics of a possible ban on Chinese drones in general (I can see reason on both sides), I CAN say DJI make a fantastic product. They honestly have never let me down. I also don't leave wifi on (to keep them from snooping or possibly forcing an unwanted update) and I am very careful with firmware updates. DJI can be rather intrusive. Ive had this drone for over a year now and its been perfect. I will say that if you're new to the hobby, or dont need all the bells and whistles, go for the Neo. I have 2 of them and you can do things with them that you cannot do with the Mini series (Or Air/Mavic series for that matter) like FPV, by adding goggle and the FPV controller. Im not a fan of the DJI Flip, period. (The most pointless drone DJI ever made???) IMHO ... show more
