There really is only one disappointing issue with this patch kit and that is that there is only one smear ball. The directions recommend using this for each patch but once you use it and get the glue on it it would be hard to use it again. Nevertheless, because I think these patches can be applied without need for the smear ball I decided not to take a star off. It is not hard to find alternatives but I do believe more than one smear ball should have been included. With the above being said, I have only good things to say about this patch kit. I have a pool float that failed every other patch we attempted to apply. They simply proved to be too thin and the glue that came with them failed to hold. The patches in HEVAENS patch kit are incredibly sturdy, being much thicker than typical patches. Multiple patches are included and because of their size they can be cut to size if needed. The supply of adhesive is very large, more than enough for the included patches, and is easy to apply but do follow the directions (apply adhesive to the patch and area on the area to be patched, smear the glue for full coverage, apply the patch and then use the scraper to remove any bubbles and then apply a heavy weight and leave for at least 24 hours). If you follow the directions this patch kit really performs as advertised. It is definitely a 5 star product.

This little kit is great! It works well. Comes with everything you need to repair. We have a couple of air mattresses that we use when we go camping and this is a must have! It'll make sure that you aren't stuck on the ground because of a particularly pointy rock under your tent. (It's happened - it SUCKS.) This way, you're prepared - and no sleeping on the ground for the three remaining days of the camping trip!! I will never again not have this in with our camping gear!

This kit does exactly what it says. It does. The adhesive is thick, but it's still easy to spread and provides great coverage. The patches go on well, and everything holds once you let it dry. I will note that the kit does really smell because of the adhesive, but you really kind of expect that. The first one I received was actually broken on delivery, so they quickly sent us a replacement, and everything worked great. FINAL WORD: If you need a quality waterproof patching kit, this is a fantastic choice.

The patches that come in this kit are pretty colorless, so should blend in pretty well on any colored inflatable surface. It comes with five 2 1/4" diameter round patches and five 7" x 2 3/4" rectangular patches. These patches are a decent thickness and do not have any stretch to them at all. The instructions say to put glue on the area you want to patch and more glue on one side of the patch you are going to use, spread it around on both, and then put them together. It might help to put some ink dots or something around the area you plan to patch so you use the right amount of glue. The applicator they include to help you spread the glue around is likely good for only a one-time use. You could probably use an old toothbrush that is clean and dry, or maybe even cotton swabs. From the amount of glue and patches they included, I'm a bit surprised they didn't include a matching supply of swabs. From the smell, I expect it makes a good chemical bond. Like some of the others, I got this to repair an air mattress leak, too!

I needed to repair my inflatable foot stool so ordered this kit. It's easy to use. The instructions are clear. Unfortunately, the leak in my tube is in a tough place, so I've had to repair the same hole a few times. This is a great repair kit to have around when you need it.

This is a nice kit that’s easy to use. It makes holes in camp mattresses not such a big deal. Can be used on bike inter tubes as well I believe. Great value and very durable. No leaks with the patch we have used so far. Performs great!
