Very cool little set of hooks…they are much smaller than I expected but should be good for bluegill, crappie, and other small species. The smallest ones in the box are too small for anything. Even a housefly would be too big for the small hooks…they are tiny.

The barbs were very strong they did not bend out even after about 5 larger sized mackerel. They are very good for their price. They are good for anything from smelt to mackerel. The size 7or 8 are very good for mackerel. Rarely lost any fish. Here is the biggest one that we caught. It was 12 oz. Lot of action on just one hook. Most of these hooks are too small to actually use unless your fishing for minnows. I will admit some of them will make great bluegill hooks for the little one but the first half of this kit is useless in my opinion.

Good for goldfish fishing maybe?…. Ladies and gentlemen…. However small you are thinking these hooks are? Think again…and think SMALLER. They’re truly a scam in my opinion. I’ve fished for my whole life. These hooks are too small to catch most baitfish! Pass. Hard pass, and sent em back!
