I pulled the dash out of my 97 f-350 to install sound deadener, this exposed the hvac assembly and the foam seals that mate the blower motor to the hvac ducting in the dash, the old foam was disintegrated and that’s where this stuff came into play, easy to cut with a sharp razor blade or scissors and the sticky back really sticks well. I am not using this for an air conditioner, I am using it to fill air gaps and leaks for my window sashes. Essentially the same concept. Works well, but could use a little more adhesion. Used to fill gap between sliding glass door and dog door. When you close the door the foam give in lightly to seal any uneven gaps. Works great for projects that the foam is needed to give for uneven areas.
