Purchasing a projector on Amazon can be difficult because they all claim to offer the same features, incredible brightness, a clear picture, excellent sound and great customer service. I tested the Happrun against a couple other projectors in this price range before settling for the Happrun JQ820. The picture quality and brightness were significantly better than the others I looked at. When projected on a 120” screen in a dark room the picture quality is excellent. I honestly don’t know how much better a high end (expensive) projector could be. I do not have a dedicated movie room with a fixed mount and instead pull the projector out when I want to use it. Fortunately, the auto focus works very well. The auto keystone is more hit or miss. Sometimes it does a good job, but there are times I need to adjust it manually. Fortunately, the manual keystone adjustment is intuitive and easy to use. The Happrun is not bright enough to use during the day unless you have curtains or shades to help dim the room. The other projectors I tested were useless with moderate light. In a dark room (even with a little bit of light) the projector looks really good. In fact, I end up having to turn down the projectors brightness when I want to use it in a dark room. I initially had difficulty finding out how to access the picture settings (brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness) and reached out to customer service via Email. This was a good experience. Customer service responded the next day with clear, easy to read instructions This one is a keeper.

I’m so happy I made this purchase, my old projector claimed to have 4k support but turns out it was only 1080 and after switching to this it blew my mind at how great the quality was for the price! The autofocus is very convenient as I don’t always have the projector in the same location so not having to mess with dials to only end up not getting it completely focused anyways is very nice. I am also surprised with the sound quality this has as I almost ordered a sound bar after my last one because it didn’t get that loud nor was the quality of sound that good but this projector sounds amazing and I have no need to add anything at the moment but if I want to I can add a Bluetooth sound system super easily. Another convenient feature is the mirroring option so you can stream your phone to projector wirelessly! I’ve been using this a lot to game on and it has been great, so much that I’ve been using it more than my actual gaming monitor. The picture quality stays great even with lights on which is very hard to come by with projectors, normally the room has to be pitch black for the colors to look good but I’ve used it with the window open and my bright led ceiling light on and it still looked amazing! I definitely recommend purchasing this it has been awesome for family movie night, gaming, watching tv on.

First thing I have to say is how much I appreciate the auto focus on start up. The only thing it won’t do is adjusting the corners based on the angle of imagery but the manual keystone is very easy to use and can fix this. Worth every penny. I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s on the same level as the multi thousand dollar ones but, I recently starting trying out projectors. I’ve only been through 3 projectors the first was real stupid thinking a cell phone size one might suffice. Nope. Picture was grid like at 20”. Second I took a gamble and got one that didn’t even try to attempt to say it was 4k compatible and very cheap around 150-200 at the time. That one was actually pretty good but only with no-very little ambient light. This one, that aspect alone had a major difference. Now I could actually watch even with the room light on. Yes the image does get slightly washed out but still pretty clear. At least at 10-12 ft away from wall(it could go further but I never tried. Never measured, but I’d say screen size is probably about 100-125” at that distance. Pretty crisp image at that length, Using as room tv on a wall, no screen, just matte finish white-off-white wall paint. I don’t think I can agree with the 4k claim and feel like it may have only meant it’s compatible and could take the info, convert it and display at 1080p max, but I’m very happy with the picture quality I feel like it’s solid 1080p good quality. The color contrast ratio is great as well. Pretty deep blacks and damn bright whites. I feel like there may be a color calibration mistake though and possibly no way to correct, that I haven’t found. Yellow in particular seems to stand out, over saturated. But it honestly didn’t bother me much to say that in actually tried to fix that. I will point out. I haven’t been able to connect to my Bluetooth Klipsch the One Plus yet 12 ft away. I was able to connect my Klipsch gig XXL speaker but sound on max was lacking and those speakers are loud usually. I also tried using wired by the 3.5 to my Klipsch pro media 2.1. It wasn’t as loud as that speaker usually gets either except the sub of course that was plenty. I want to give 5 stars but the bluetooth situation deserves to be noted. I will say though, for the price no brainer. I’m going to update this review in the next week or so after I give enough time to sort the audio obstacle. I bought on sale I think it was like 260. I would gladly pay more. If you’re not trying to spend over 400 dollars I would definitely recommend this speaker. If it last longer then a year everyday use as bedroom projector. It was well worth the money. Pics to come

Really happy with this purchase. The 1080p picture is sharp and clear, especially in a darkened room, and setting it up was straightforward. The Bluetooth connectivity works well for pairing with a speaker, and it’s compatible with a Fire Stick which makes streaming a breeze. The built-in speakers are decent for casual use too. I’ve been using this projector for a couple of weeks now and honestly I’m really impressed for the price. Setup was super easy — the auto focus works surprisingly well and within a few seconds the picture becomes sharp and clear. I also liked that I didn’t have to spend time adjusting everything manually every time I moved it. The picture quality is very good, especially at night or in a darker room. Colors look vibrant and the brightness is much better than I expected. I mainly use it for movies, YouTube, and PS5 gaming and it handles all of them really smoothly. The screen can get huge without looking blurry, which makes movie nights feel like a mini theater at home. The built-in speakers are decent too. I thought I would need external speakers immediately, but for normal watching they actually sound clear and loud enough. Bluetooth connection was simple with my speaker and phone. Another thing I liked is the WiFi performance. Streaming and screen mirroring from my phone felt smooth with very little lag compared to older projectors I’ve tried before. Of course, like most projectors, it looks best in a dim or dark room. In daylight with lots of sunlight the image is still visible but not as impressive. That’s pretty normal though for projectors in this range. Overall, I feel this projector gives a lot of value for the money. It’s easy to use, has a clean picture, and feels much more premium than I expected. Definitely happy with the purchase. So overall its worth for the price and remote control is easy to operate.

I wasn’t sure what I was getting with this Happrun 4K projector, but my initial reaction to it was that it is very impressive. The autofocus application is amazing. It really helps to ensure a great picture. The brightness and the colors look really good. I used it in a couple of different environments. The first was a mostly darkened room, and the picture quality was excellent (pictures for reference). The size of the projection was much larger than I expected. The sound quality from the built-in speaker was acceptable. I was watching a lecture and could easily hear everything the speaker was saying. The second environment was in a large multi-use room where I was able to make the image very large. In that environment, with half of the lights off, the picture quality was great, and the auto-focus came in so handy in ensuring a clear picture. Now, when I turned all the lights on in the room, the picture really dulled out some in color, but that’s expected with almost any projector I have ever used, but the picture was still clear. Overall, very impressed with how this projector is working, and the option for adding a Bluetooth speaker to increase the sound for movies and such is a great perk too I did have a little lag in my Bluetooth sound, but that may have just been my video player I was using. Have already recommended this to others I know that use projectors for church or business functions.

I have been using the projector heavily since it arrived and I have found the picture quality to be excellent, on par with much more expensive projectors. The connectivity is great as well, with 2 HMDI ports (including ARC port). I am using one for a streaming box, and one for an xbox. The auto focus and auto keystone work great, and gaming on the projector is lag free. The fan is relatively quiet and the projector boots up quickly. I was able to mount the projector on my ceiling easily, and the 6d keystone is a breeze to fit to my screen. Overall, this is the best projector that I have seen in this price range, and I would recommend it to anyone currently in the market for a new projector.
