I'm using it as a pool cover pump to remove water after heavy rains. I have a 16 x 32 inground pool, so no telling how many gallons the cover collects when we get 2"-3" of rain over a few days. Works good, but does not move water too quickly. I am using the small diameter hose and one of the fittings that it came with, so maybe this could be improved if I purchased a larger (adapter) fitting and larger diameter hose. Very happy that it came with a long cord and the included hose and several different fittings. Packaging was great, no issues. For the price, I'm happy with it. Have used it a few times and it has been plugged in for several hours each time and takes water down to a very minimal level as advertised. I am enjoying the ease of using this pump vs. dragging out my larger sump pump each time that I had previously been using.

This is a life saver. I've used a much heavier pump until it stopped working. This little pump is excellent. It is not so heavy that it causes the cover to sink. It is just the perfect weight to pump water out of the cover and works very fast and efficiently. Not issue at all setting it up. It comes with a hose that can be easily attached. I wish the hose was a just a few more feet longer. Overall this is a great pump. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Pump works pretty well and does what it should. The power cord length is awesome. The one downside is the clear hose that was included. It is VERY kinked in like 10 different places where they folded it instead of rolling it up. The pump works with this hose but it will not pump at full capacity using it. Sad cause the hose seems to be pretty good quality if it wasn't ruined.

This little pump is small but mighty it works well it pumped 5 in water off of my pool cover in minutes I did not get the one with the automatic shut off so I had to watch it. The Little net bag that comes with it is great you put the pump inside the bag even if there are leaves in the pool it will suck all the water out without blocking up definitely worth the money and it wasn't a lot of money.

This pump is a must have if you own a pool. It is super easy to use; you find the deepest spot of water on your cover , drop it in, position the hose and plug it in. For those complaining that it doesn't have a automatic shut off there is a simple fix for that. After you start seeing water draining out of the hose simply unplug the unit! The water will continue to drain (think 'siphon') and the pump is turned off. Easy fix. I will add that the water does drain a tad slower with the pump off but not enough to really make a difference and it saves you from burning your pump's motor. Occasionally the pump will get clogged with leaf debris and need clearing out. Just pull the debris off the openings where the water enters and you're back in business. I also use this to drain a few feet of water out of my pool for winter closure. I put it on the steps about a foot down. I assume if you don't have steps it would work just as well sitting on the bottom of your pool. I highly recommend this pump, its low cost and works great. It comes with a hose and 3 different size attachments for 3 different width hoses. If you want you can buy a larger bore hose that will drain faster, the attachments are for just that, but I have no problem using the hose that came with it. It drains fast enough for my purposes. I actually had to buy a 2nd one because my MIL borrowed mine and loved it so much for her pool that she kept it and gave me money for a new one! Buy it, you won't regret it.

I have been using this pump for approx 3 months. I work well, I did use filters surround it to prevent clogging. So it has not been working bare. Good price.
