These lights look great, and made it all the way around the deck. The glow is perfect. When first received, I was surprised that I had to screw in the 100 bulbs. When plugged in, only 18 worked. I thought I got a bum set. Easy return at Kohl’s, and a new set arrived a couple of days later. Same thing...I screwed in 100 bulbs, maybe 20 worked. I was ready to give up. My husband tried, and found if you kept turning, past where it stopped, they went on.....so, user error. I use these lights for my living room. They are beautiful. Are used to have a black corded ones, same brand. However indoors especially with white walls… The white cord is much cleaner and it opens up the place quite a bit. I also like the effect of the lights floating rather than an eyesore of a black cord shrinking the room essentially. These lights are typically very expensive… I find this place extremely reasonable, and they are such a showstopper inside my house… I get compliments from you early everybody who comes to my house about them. I love them myself as well. The only downside is they’re very very hot. As soon as you plug them in you can feel how much heat the lights are producing. Surgery in the summer living in Arizona with these lights I tend to keep them off during the day or else it makes my house about 10° To 15° hotter then I’m running my thermostat at. That is the only downside to these lights. Other than that I’m obsessed with them. I love the way they look. They give a warm cozy feeling and it’s fun to have them indoors. ... show more

Added them to a timer for my front porch for security lighting. I like the light level - bright enough to give me the visibility I wanted but not spotlight bright to disturb my neighbors. I strung these across my classroom and put them on a timer so they're on when I come in in the morning and they shut off after I leave. Most of the time I shut all but the front lights of our room off and the kids just work under the soft glow of these... they love it! Love these lights for our back porch! We used command hooks although these come with built in hooks if we had something to attach to! The bulbs seemed thicker than a lot of easily breakable ones. I did slowly remove from the box because some reviews mention they were not attached and it’s true, just had to screw them in. These were great! I bought 3 sets for indoor use so I can’t vouch for their outdoor use yet. They were packaged perfectly with each bulb in its own foam hole. Each box also came with two extra bulbs. No broken bulbs in any boxes, no issues at all. I plugged one in, and then just connected the other two. Easy peasy. Lights looked amazing, they’re bright, and they really look wonderful! Tip: If you plug them in and see a bulb unlit, it’s more than likely just a tad loose. Just tighten it real quick and it comes right on! ... show more
