Works fine. Perfect kind of switch so you can alternate between work and home computer with your keyboard and mouse. Just one USB connection per set, so don't expect a lot of options. I was able to connect just fine with my laptop and PC to an monitor. Hitting the button to switch them out by change the green light to the blue light. This is a simple KVM switch and it does exactly what you expect it to do. I don't know that I would use this for a gaming PC, but for every thing else it should be fine. ... show more

Before i had this, whenever I want to switch between monitor and keyboard between my two desktops, I had to bend my back and go under my desk to switch the cables out. After I had the kvm switch, I no longer have to do this and can do it with small button. It's also a lot cheaper than a real kvm switch. Problem is that the cables that come with it are short so it's hard to put the box in a comfortable space without leaving the thing dangling ... show more

I have 2 laptops and 2 large monitors (a 34" and a 43" monitors). So, I use 2 KVM switches. One of the KVM switches only handles the second monitor video signal (no USB signal). This 4K KVM, controls both USB and the first monitor. Both KVM switches have a button that switches color between green and blue to indicate which signal is being passed through the KVM. So, when I want to change which laptop is hooked up to my monitors, I just press the button on top of each KVM to make the color the same. The process works pretty easily. ... show more

I really love this KVM switch, and the size is borderline crazy! It has the dimensions of a credit card, and about a 1/2 inch thick, so it can fit anywhere on your desk clutter-free. It has a super fast response time, once you hit the button, your keyboard, mouse, and monitor instantly switches to your other PC. This is a no brainer if you're tired of having multiple keyboards and mice on your desk, and have the need to share a monitor. ... show more

I don't share monitors between laptops, but I do share my keyboard and mouse. I have connected both items to my two work laptops, and it works perfectly. The button that switches offers green and blue, so each color represents a specific laptop so you know which one is currently active. I just click the button to switch between the systems and the keyboard and mouse continue to work as they should.     • Surprisingly Good !!
When I first opened the box, my first impression was, "Rut-roh !!". This KVM is tiny, about the size of a laptop hard drive but a wee bit smaller. It came with all needed cables, but no external power supply (which was a positive to me). I plugged them in to two PC's I was working on. Turned the first PC on, it booted up, mouse and keyboard worked. Turned on the second PC....nothing. Then I decided to actually LOOK at it. There is a toggle button on the top, backlight with an LED ring. It was blue. First PC is clearly labeled blue on the KVM. Second PC is clearly labeled green. Tap the toggle, it turns green and the second PC is now onscreen. Yes, I did not read the directions, it "just a KVM".... Well, even if you're like me, you really don't need to read any instructions, it's that simple to use and set up. I switched between PC's rapidly to see if I could lock it up or something. Nope. Switched fine every time. This is by far the tiniest KVM I've ever used, the easiest to use and I've been using KVM's for probably 20+ years. This is small enough to toss in a laptop bag if need be. All cables disconnect making it even easier to transport. If anything changes, I'll update my review, but I think it's well worth the cost. ... show more

    • Works exactly as expected
I've had quite a few KVM switches. They tend to fall into a couple of buckets. Those that don't work out of the box, those that do work, but then stop working, and those that go the distance. I'm happy to report that this one works out of the box, just as expected. I love the colored light that switches depending on which PC it's running. If I had a suggestion, I'm move the button for switching away from the center, so it's easier to press from one end of the device. For my set up, that would make it more ergonomically functional. I'll have to report back if it "doesn't go the distance" issue, but so far, it's a champ! ... show more

    • Really nice to have if you work from home and have another pc at your desk.
No issues setting this up. Plug a usb and hdmi from both computers to the box, plug in your mouse/keyboard/etc into the box, and run the hdmi to the monitor. Switching only takes a second. No video quality issues and devices work fine. One issue i ran into is when i moved the hdmi in from one device to another, my 2nd device would kick on. You will need devices plugged in and on for both the blue side and green side for this to work. Not a deal breaker and probably by technical design. This is also 60hz, so if you have a high refresh rate you wont be able to go above 60hz even at lower resolutions like 1440p. ... show more
