    • Might work for a little while
I have had this product for about 5 months, and it is now leaking water from inside the machine. Zero support for the product, which is a huge problem. Now here's the important pieces for anyone considering this machine. Pros and cons: Pro - Makes great ice Cons - 1 - Very poor design. The ice will literally push the tray out of the machine and overload with ice making a huge mess if you have the machine hooked up to a water supply. 1a - As others have noted, when removing the tray, you will get water everywhere. Not sure there is a fix here as the melted ice has to go somewhere. 2 - The machine is insanely dirty. I had it hooked up to filtered water, and the machine continuously got dirty. And it was something that couldn't have come from the air or the water line. Has to come from the machine. 2a - The "clean" cycle doesn't actually do anything that I can see other than rotate water. Even using a mild detergent had no effect. Had to be emptied and cleaned manually very frequently 3 - Started leaking water from inside the machine which isn't something that can be fixed. Which means I have a huge water mess to clean, and a rather large paperweight. End result, if you buy it, it might work for your needs for a little while, but when it breaks do not expect any support or help, just throw your money away. ... show more

    • It does what it said it would.
This machine arrived with some water in the unit as if it had been used. I hope it was due to testing at factory but not really sure. Either way i was worried but after getting it setup, it works great! Now it does make a bit of noise which may be an issue for you. For me and my wife it's nothing to worry about as our kitchen is on the far side of the house away from bedrooms. It makes ice rather fast and is good ice also. The only other thing that i was not to excited about was the water inlet hookup doesn't appear to be for hooking up to my water line at home. So we have had to manually add water for now. I may try to find a way to get it hooked up to the existing water line for the old icemaker in our old fridge. Overall the unit does well so far. Make sure to keep it clean by cleaning it out as per instruction manual. ... show more

    • Worked until it Didnt
Absolutely love the ice it makes, however it worked great at first but then it started squeaking really bad and then started turning off all of a sudden so I would constantly have to turn it back on and restart the process. I hate that it squeaks like its going to blow up because it could be a great ice machine. I should have read the reviews first because when it started squeaking then I decided to read it. So for real for real read and believe when they say it squeaks because it definitely does. So disappointed, especially how much it cost to turn around and have to send it back. :( ... show more

    • Very Disappointed
The ice machine is pretty loud. Our master bedroom is right off the living room/kitchen area, the machine is loud enough that you can hear it all night long if the door is open. If you turn it off the ice melts and you have to wait until it makes ice all over again. The ice tray keeps getting pushed out, by the ice, so the machine thinks it needs to keep making ice and it does and fills the water reservoir with ice until it runs out of water. This happened several times over the few days we were using it. Because the ice tray gets pushed out the machine is basically unusable. If it is not turned on and making ice the ice melts and drips back into the reservoir. I did my research before buying so this is a big disappointment. Returning it. ... show more

    • Great machine minor flaw.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for the wife at Christmas and it’s now March 30th. Despite the terrible noise in the video(I’ll explain the noise later)We love this machine. We use only filtered water in it. We leave it powered on pretty much 24hrs cause we go through one bucket of ice a day. We notice you need to physically clean the water tank and flush it about every 3 weeks. Otherwise it will start getting slime. I tried to load a second video but only one video was allowed. It’s a very quiet machine and again we love it. Okay about a week ago it started maki g the noise you hear in the video. I’ve notice it only does it for about 10 seconds about every minute to minute and a half and won’t start doing it until about 5 minutes into producing ice. We just activated the extended warranty.     • Makes great ice and fast
I love this thing. I have been wanting a nugget icemaker for quite some time. My husband bought this for me for christmas and i absolutely love it. It makes ice really fast. Its bucket fills up in less than an hour. My old ice maker used to take all day for me to get enough ice to fill a couple gallon ziploc bags to put in my freezer. With this one i filled 4 zip lock bags in just a couple hours and my freezer ran out of space to keep it. There are 3 of us that fill our 40 ounce water bottles and my husband fills his ice chest for work. There was never enough ice for all us because my old machine was so slow. With this one when one of us empties it, if refills before the next person needs to use it. I get so much ice so fast i dont have to bag it and put it in the freezer, even though this doesnt have a built in freezer, it makes the ice so fast that it refills faster than it melts so I'm never without ice. The only down side i have notice so far is that sometimes the icebucket overfills and instead of stopping making ice, it slides out, and it keeps making ice so the water reservoir fills with ice too. Then i have to scoop all the ice out and if i dont catch it right away the ice in the bucket melts on the counter instead of dripping back into the reservior. The best thing is we went ahead and hooked it up to the refrigerator water supply so i never have to add water. It refills automatically. With my old one part of our lack of ice problem was no one would refill it so it would run out of water and stop makimg ice. This doesnt do that when hooked to a water supply, Endless great nugget ice. Once summer rolls around i might have to start bagging ice again because we go through so much but for now i dont. I absolutely love this icemaker. Definitely worth the purchase. ... show more
