I've been using Adore for about a year and I adore it! 😍 I have Asian hair that has faded as I've gotten older and this dye gives me such rich color without looking overly opaque. It starts fading after about 7-10 days but it is so easy to apply that I like experimenting with different tones. Like I will use 118 as my base and add a little 186. Then if I feel like going a little warmer, I might add 106 instead. It's much less expensive than going to a hair salon and I can achieve the color combo that I'm looking for! ... show more

Works great and smells nice. The smell reminds me of a freezy pop (the frozen koolade in a plastic tube). I fo prefer Arctic Fox, but this is a little cheaper. The color lasts pretty good if you don't wash your hair with hot water. The trick to a longer lasting color is to wash it in cool water. At least the coolest you can stand. It’s a beautiful color. Rich color. But it does not cover your gray. So let me just state that. If you’re looking for this color to color your gray, it’s not gonna happen. It’s gonna tint your gray in the color family, but your hair won’t be all one color. But saying that, when it does color, your hair all the color is so rich and so pretty. I love it and I’ve learned from the first time that I used it that my hair needs to be all one color before I put this rich purple color on it. It’s not permanent die. tldr you get what you pay for, it's similar to splat quality imo but doesn't stain things as bad, make sure to condition or use hair mask afterwards product is decent, dries my hair out really bad, fades quicker than most dyes and the pastels fade in 1-2 washes, packaging is not very good one of the bottles busted open inside and i lost a bunch of dye, the bottles have opened in the package before but normally not much dye comes out. i put rich eggplant on top of faded splat pink fetish mixed with tintation red velvet and this is the colour (at the bottom, the top is just pink fetish) i would advise using some sort of hair mask or leave in conditioner after this dye i use mielle or it's a 10 (second pic is right after dying third pic is after a hair mask and 1 week of leave in after i shower + a trim but ignore that becuz i didnt cut off my dead ends so) also the indigo dye is straight up teal and fades very green (i even put it on top of a faded purple btw), if you want ACTUAL indigo you'll need to mix a blue and purple together or get another dye ... show more

This stuff is awesome! It's very gentle on your hair, no harsh chemicals, smells nice, and a little bit goes a long way. My only complaint would be it's fairly runny, so it's easy to drip and stain surfaces if you're not careful. The up-side is it easily saturates your hair and you don't have to use much. I have fairly thick, long hair (past my shoulder blades) and just one bottle completely saturates my hair and I even have a little bit left over. All vibrantly colored semi-permanent hair color fades. In order to keep my color as long as possible, I wash with cool water & use a sulfate free cleansing conditioner (Renpure is the brand I use) rather than a detergent based shampoo. I also use a spray in leave in conditioner & I'll add the little bit of hair color left in the bottle to the spray in conditioner. I'm very happy I found this color- it's so much easier on my hair than the permanent color I was using. It's a little more to maintain it but I feel the benefits more than make up for it. ... show more

I’ve used several companies and I’ve never had one work this poorly. My daughter was trying to color her hair “rich eggplant.” You can see a tiny spot of purple and the rest of it is RED and streaky. Worse than a waste of money. I have to figure out how to get the red out and try a different company’s purple. It stained everything purple and got everywhere, so we really thought it would be an amazing purple. No. Won’t be using this company again. ... show more
