The media could not be loaded. While the instructions were almost no help at all, the assembly process was relatively straightforward. It did require some time and patience though. A few extra steps could have been more detailed. Additionally, it's essential to have a second pair of hands to help with some of the larger components. It took me a couple of hours to set up, but once it was assembled, it felt sturdy and secure. The build quality of this bench press set is good. The frame is constructed from heavy-duty steel, and the welds seem solid. The bench and squat rack are padded with comfortable, durable materials that should hold up well over time. The leg attachment is of no use at all. Let's not fool anyone with this. I didn't buy this thinking about the legs so I am not taking a point out because of this, but if I would have acquired this piece of equipment thinking I was going to use them I would be pissed. In conclusion, this bench is not for everyone. If you are an experienced lifter that needs heavy stuff this is not for you. If you are a beginner that only needs the basics covered then you can most certainly use this bench to grow while not breaking the bank simultaneously. This is a solid, well constructed bench. Moderately easy to assemble but the instructions required a magnifying glass to read. One important bolt was not clearly defined in the instructions. Was able to figure it out and able to keep the bench from collapsing. After a week using it, I found the leg extension apparatus limits the range of motion for taller people (6’2”). Would be helpful if the bench was a few inches higher to allow a taller person's feet to clear the floor. Overall, Bench is good. ... show more

    • Very unstable, and must be really short to fully use
This whole set up jiggles and wobbles when using. Not secure at all and imbalanced. The barbell rack sways and moves way too much. The leg extension….not usable unless you are using very small 5-10 pound plates. And you can only fit 2-3 on there. Any plates wider than 6 in and you will be banging your shins into it. Since the bench seat isn’t adjustable at all whatsoever, you can’t even lift the leg extension without dragging your feet on the ground. Useless. All in all the pad for preacher curls is OK. Don’t waste your money. This is cheaply made, not sturdy and impractical for serious use. ... show more

I like that the vertical bars are spaced apart enough to grab the bar normally. It has a great range of angles for different bench variations. It was pretty simple to assemble as well. It would be even better if it had a few plate holders on it.

    • Great for starter and good for the price, missing pieces
The rod for the leg extension was missing. And just recently after only a few usage the spring pin broke. Preacher pad is very narrow but can be used for single arm. Same with leg extension is narrow but could be used single leg. But other than that it’s a good buy for the price and is multi functional. The seat and bench pad is very comfortable.     • Great for a Home Gym
It is probably the best bench press / Squat Rack Set up that you can get for your money's worth. If you are benching or squatting hundreds of pounds however I would recommend a power rack instead of a bench and squat rack setup. Assembly took about 2 hours doing it by myself.
