Needed something to help me get up from my new adjustable bed. This woks perfectly, I feel very stable when using this to pull myself up. I also use it when I turn over in the night, as I had surgery on my left leg, and am unable to move it normally. It was easy to assemble. The side piece can be put on the right or left. I have it inserted about 1/3 of the way down, right where the frame bends. It comes with a strap, but it was not necessary. It is sturdy, and fits my needs. I love the pocket, it holds my tablet, tv remote and bed remote.

My only very minor complaints are 1) that the two screws that connect the side handle to the main body are a bit awkward to install using the supplied hex key, and 2) that I needed to use a rubber mallet to get it all assembled. The provided instructions are reasonably clear. I like the fact that this rail kit goes all the way to the floor, making it much sturdier than others that I have used that rely solely on the part that goes between the mattress and box springs. This is a very robust rail, with more than adequate strength and stability for my situation - 91-year-old woman with heart failure and other medical issues. The kit includes a gait belt which doesn't seem to interface with the safety rail in any way, but proved its worth in under 24 hours when a non-medical helper used it to get the patient righted.

Excellent sturdy construction with no wobbly joints. Very sturdy in use with no movement. The only question I have for the builder is why the two rivets in the height adjustment legs? My bed if from an older water bed frame and it is only 12 inches from the floor. I had to drill the two rivets out and the legs worked perfectly. What is the purpose of the rivets? The parts were tight and I had to use a rubber hammer to get them together but that's good because it means no loose joints.

I bought this bed rail for my mother who has issues getting in and out of her bed. It slips right under her mattress between it and the box spring. It comes with a tie down, but she didn’t want it tied down and it has worked just fine for her this way. It has adjustable heights, feels sturdy and functions very well for her. It also has a pocket on the side to store phone, meds, tv remote, etc. This was a good purchase.

Easy to setup. After assembly, we just pushed it under the mattress. Works to help me pull myself up and get out of bed after fracturing ribs. I am using it without the strap that goes under the mattress without issue. Pocket works to hold remote and cell phone within reach.
