I hate leaving bad reviews. Received package undamaged. Proceeded to assemble very easily (except for my back and knee, but that's not the table's fault! ;) Looked great. Seemed sturdy even though I didn't love the somewhat flimsy outer edge nor the plastic wedges that held the glass into it. Nonetheless, all looked good... Proceeded to put a standard patio table umbrella through the hole in the glass top and metal frame as it is apparently designed for. For stability we even bought one of those weighted umbrella bases to take the strain off the table itself. In less than 2 minutes, the umbrella post tilted just slightly appart against the edge of the hole in the glass tabletop. The entire table SHATTERED into thousands of pieces throwing glass up to 5' in every direction with my 2 young children nearby. The only GOOD things I can say (and why I have it two stars instead of one) are: a) it's tempered safety glass, so it didn't shatter into sharp glass shards - just the beaded glass like a car window; b) customer service was excellent. Emailed them on a Sunday in a holiday weekend. They replied within a few hours. Sent them photos, done. Refund promised to be sent on next business day (if things change I will post them here.) Overall, if you want a lower-priced, attractive glass table and do NOT need to use an umbrella, it might still be worth it. But DO BEWARE !!!!! ... show more

Decent quality. Came with all parts and instructions. Be aware that the distance between the table-top outside edge and the lower support frame is such that most people will bump their shins when sitting down, unless they are aware about the closeness of the lower metal frame. If the table-top was about 2" wider all the way around, it would probably solve the issue. We purchased 4 and leg room is the only issue. ... show more

Let me start with that I wanted just a simple table for outdoors, bigger than what we had as our family had grown by three people. It seemed like not a bad price compared to others. When we started assembling it, however, we discovered that there was a serious quality control issue. One of the hole's in the leg was completely blocked by the welding (weld drip). Couldn't put the bolt through no matter what. For something I was hoping to assemble by myself, I had to pull hubby away from his project to deal with it. After about 40 min, two broken drill bits and having to use his heavy duty drill that has to plug into the outlet, instead of regular one and use of dremel tool, we were able to clear the hole for the bolt from the weld and finish assembling. It took us an hour something that otherwise would have taken 20 min at best. Also the edge around glass feels flimsy. It was a hassle and a pain in the neck. If I had known what it would entail I would not have bought it, but since it was already out of the box and hold way assembled when we discovered the issue, hubby didn't feel like tearing it apart and trying to put it back in the box to send it back. But without him and his tools I would not be able to do that on my own. ... show more

    • Hard to assemble

Came with a lot of parts. No assembly instruction just a very small "diagram". Took easily 1 1/2 hours to assemble. (We did not have a "handy" person available.) BIG HINT - you will need two sawhorses since assembling on the ground is impossible for back and knees. The diagram showed assembling it with the glass at the bottom. But to us novices that felt a little risky. So, we (yes two people) assembled the bottom separately. That worked.. BUT you have to LOOSEN the bolts/screws so that you can maneuver the bottom legs inside the sleeves that connect the bottom to the glass top. Plan for at least a three week delivery time frame as it comes from Canada and US customs is dragging its feet. In the end it was worth it. It is a great product and, as a bonus, we now have a "family" story to retell. ... show more

Well, I was really happy initially. Not too hard to assemble, looked nice for about 3 weeks. My husband was in the kitchen and heard a noise. He walked out to the picture. No one or thing was near it. We have no idea what happened.
