I give it 2.5 stars simply because it works and is easy to put together (despite being heavy). However, I will never buy anything from Sweetnight again simply because of how they do business and treat customers. I bought this base for its under bed motion lighting (which is very sensitive) and app control. The app never finds the base for me to connect my phone (Galaxy S21, Android 11). I contacted Sweetnight who would only contact me via email for support. They tried to blame it on my phone and told me to try another phone (which I don't have) but tried my tablet (Android 6) and it still didn't work, then they sent a new Bluetooth controller box and that STILL didn't work and they still blamed it on my brand new phone. They dragged it out so long they made me miss my window to return it for a base that does as advertised, but the lady I spoke with on the phone, before they went to only email communication, told me it wouldn't be a problem...LIE! They told me to just use the remote. I had to express my dissatisfaction that their product does not perform as advertised, for them to offer me a partial refund. When I initially called, the lady did not even know the base could be app controlled. In hindsight, now I know why...it doesn't work. Now, I'm stuck with it, because they won't take it back because Amazon's return window has closed, even though they are the one's who prolonged the process (probably on purpose). All in all, it will work with the regular wireless remote but not with the app. And maybe if that wasn't my reason for buying it, I would have given this more stars. But regardless, products should ALWAYS do what you advertise them to do ... show more

I use it with the standard Purple mattress, which is already very comfortable, and is perfect for the contortions this adjustable bed puts the mattress through. it is stylish, and the fabric on the sides is very high end feeling.The motors are quiet as opposed to some I've heard, and the positions and choices available are numerous. Makes reading upright in bed with your feet up so easy and comfortable. The LED is very useful when going to the bathroom. having lived with it for a week now, I consider this bed to be a very reasonable bargain, and I wish I would have purchased it sooner. The media could not be loaded. I already own one for myself, it’s very solid, sturdy, and of good quality. My son is a really big guy. Tall and weight wise. I needed something that accommodates his big build. You can also charge your cell phone on the controller. It’s a challenge to get the box into your bedroom, it weighs over 100lbs and our room was on the 2nd floor... somehow we did it but still, it's a very heavy product. But once inside, it literally takes 5 mins to assemble and also easy to assemble. Pros 1. Easy to assemble 2. Less noise while lifting up and down 3. Can easily lift up to 14Inch matter, just keep in mind not to go over 700lbs combined weight. 4. 2 PIR sensor for the LED light which is really cool. Cons 1. I wish they could hold longer in the anti-snoring mode. The default timer maybe is around a few minutes and then it goes back flat. 2. Wish they had app control in case you lose the remote. 3. Came in a heavy box. No easy access to the instructions...until the frame is open. Once opened, there were very very basic instructions. The bed legs are adjustable as sections can be unscrewed but the instructions are pretty much useless. I assembled it by myself, but was going solo the whole time. The led light sensors can be set up or down the leg, but no mention of it in the instructions. Once setup, it works fine. The phone app is useless. Overall, it is alright. But how a company can build such a product and sell it online over the world, and have such a poor manual? The remote is far from perfect. The power cord is too short and unless an outlet is right behind the bed, an extension cord is needed. Good product with idiotic remote and app. The light sensors work great and it is an useful feature to have some lighting as one gets out of bed at night. The usb plugs are located underneath the frame and hard to access. Best to leave anything you use plugged all the time. ... show more
