This fan is a great value for the price! It’s lightweight and flows a lot of air. The dimmable led light is very bright. Installed in 1.5 hrs and could have done it faster if I didn’t make mistakes. Will likely buy another one for another room.

The first thing I'm going to say is that I got this 52" ceiling fan for $89.99 on a special deal, and that was a good price. Now to the install. The instruction booklet is very good, but it could be better. I read and followed the instructions and when I tried to slide the cover up to the ceiling to cover the wiring connections, remote receiver and such, it wouldn't fit. I stared at the entire assembly for a couple minutes, scratched my head, rubbed my chin, looked at the shaped cover, and thought it all out and finally thought, "I need to flip the remote receiver upside down." That remote receiver is long and shallow and on one side of the vertical ends has 90° edges between the ends and the horizontal top, and the other side of the vertical ends has that 90° angle rounded off so the angled cover will ONLY FIT over it if you have that remote receiver installed correctly in the assembly. The instructions SHOW IN THE PICTURES the direction of the remote receiver in the assembly, but they don't say anything about the importance of sliding that receiver in place with the correct orientation. They should. They should show a close-up image and make a clear explanation. That would have saved me several minutes of grumbling, and abouta gallon of sweat as I struggled in the tropical heat on my back porch to figure out what I was doing wrong. Once I figured out that problem, I got on to twisting wires correctly together. I would suggest that the manufacturer not be so stingy with the wire length. Not every home has the ideal conditions to wire up this fan, and I could have had a little easier of a job if only they had given me an inch more of wire on all the wiring. EVEN A HALF AN INCH more would have made making connections more doable. And those tiny wire nuts! Come on, manufacturer! If all I was connecting was 14 gauge wire typical in many mass produced modern homes, it may work. But my home (and I'll bet you many other well built homes) has 12 gauge wiring, even for the lighting circuits; and those piddly little wire nuts just won't work. I have had this issue before when doing home improvements, and I had a box of assorted size wire nuts that I'd bought previously. I tossed the mini wire nuts and picked out some bigger ones that would secure the wires safely. I did have to strip back the wire insulation about ⅛" more than was done in the factory, to be able to twist around my larger gauge house wiring. Guys, please don't be so STINGY with the wire. The fan works fine. It's quiet and all the blades weighed exactly the same (12.6 oz) so I had no problems with weight and balancing. The light cover is made of thin plastic rather than glass, which is good and bad. It's good because if it falls or is dropped it won't shatter into a million pieces. It's bad because it is crushable with just the slightest pressure, so don't squeeze it or push hard on it because you could crease it. I had a few issues with the screws (not enough in my package for the project) and a couple washers were too small for the hole they were supposed to work on, and they bent up easily. This was on the bracket that is supposed to hold everything up in my ceiling, but the way. I had to go into my personal washer collection to find ones that fit and worked better, and are actually going to keep my fan attached to the junction box in my ceiling. So all of those little aggravations and shortcomings are why I only give this ceiling fan three stars. A nickel's worth of material and time by the manufacturer would have made this product a four star product. Moral of the story? Don't cut corners.

Review: I rarely leave reviews, but this one needs to be said clearly: this ceiling fan is all looks and zero performance. Yes, it looks great. Modern design, clean finish — no complaints there. But a ceiling fan has one job: move air. And this fan completely fails at that. The blades are poorly constructed and either improperly pitched or cheaply designed, because even at the highest setting, there is virtually no downward airflow. You can stand directly under it and barely feel anything. It’s honestly shocking how ineffective it is. I double-checked installation, direction settings (counterclockwise for cooling). The issue is not user error — it’s the fan itself. It functions more like a decorative light fixture than an actual fan. If you’re buying this expecting real cooling or airflow, don’t. Save your money and buy something that actually works. Bottom line: Looks nice, but completely useless as a fan.
