Nice fan. I got the 80 inch model. No sounds after balancing the blades. The LED plate that is included with the board is not the brightest for an 80-in fan. Overall it was a painless install. Do not use the screws that come with the mount if you are planning on screwing this directly into hardwood, as they will easily strip. The fan moves a lot of air and is pretty impressive. I originally had a rattle when the fan was spinning because I did not install the mounting plates. The instructions seem to vary, but I took a picture if anyone else is having a similar issue with rattle.

The fan looks better and does a better job of moving air than the old monstrosity. It was also easy to install. User installation and operation instructions were unexpectedly good. If you are used to electrical wiring and diy the installation will probably go fast. If you don't have experience it will probably take double or triple the time. Don't be in a hurry. Take time to understand the instructions. The light is dimmable and has three color temperature settings. Mine stays set to the warmest color. I tried a fan with a light that was not dimmable and it was miserably bright. I had to return it. The fan is wired to use the previously existing three-way light switches. Note that many older fans used two hot wires to accommodate both fan power and light power. Choose the correct hot wire to get the desired switch operation. I learned the hard way. The fan remembers its settings if turned off by a wall switch. The fan operates with the old settings when turned on by the wall switch. I just bought the fan again for installation in another room.

Able to control from a wall switch without needing the remote (which seems to be rare these days I guess) but most importantly and I cannot stress this enough, super easy install. 3rd fan I’ve installed this week and while I’m sure the previous experience helped a bit, I was able to get this up and running in about half the time as the other two. Very good air flow, like level one is plenty. There’s 6 levels. The light is very bright but dimmable. You need to have some common sense to install it, make it work. It comes with a weight kit, and a piece to figure out which one needs to be balanced. If your patient once you stick the weights on it will spin perfectly. Real wood, pretty light and probably scratchable so be carful not to scratch before install.
