Surprisingly awesome. I purchased this set knowing it was not made by the company selling it. This is a Barweer set that they sell, but can be hard to find in the US direct from Barweer US warehouse as they always have limited stock and ordering from China can take weeks. So rolled the dice and hoped this was a solid set. Came in original box and was complete no missing parts. Don’t know who manufacturers the bricks but brick quality was good no issues and clutch was also good. The over build took about 10 hours, but was a full enjoyment. Take your time and you will end up with a beautiful set when complete. You can’t beat some of these alt brands for their prices. If you enjoy building brick sets and want an alternative to the high cost of Lego, you can’t go wrong with this set. Not saying these are better than Lego, but are a close second. The gap has considerably closed. So for the price of 1 Lego modular you can build 2 or sometimes 3 alt brick sets. Just keep your mind open and you’ll love this build. Barweer did a nice job on this set. Wish it would have been available for Halloween but I will have it on display next Haloween, Although I have yet to put it away as it looks to good not to display.

Holexapyd Addams Family Haunted Mansion – 3,378 Pieces Rating: 7/10 This 3,378-piece Addams Family Haunted Mansion by Holexapyd is an impressive and ambitious build packed with creepy detail. From the outside, it has strong presence on display, and once you open it up, you realize just how much has been crammed into a relatively compact footprint. The mansion is modular, with each floor detaching to reveal highly detailed interiors. There’s a beautiful grand staircase that really sets the tone the moment you open it up. The spooky greenhouse adds atmosphere, and each floor includes a hidden room that connects to a trap door system leading out into the graveyard. That’s a clever and fun feature. The set includes bats, spiders, webs, and even an owl, all adding to the eerie aesthetic. The printed spooky family portraits are a nice touch and elevate the interior design. Each family bedroom has its own creepy theme, which keeps the build interesting. There’s even a dedicated office room for Gomez’s model train sets, which is a thoughtful detail fans will appreciate. Now for the downsides. The biggest missed opportunity here is the lack of minifigures. For a set based on the Addams Family theme, not including characters like Uncle Fester, Cousin Itt, Lurch, or even Thing feels like a real letdown. It’s understandable that a smaller company may not have access to official intellectual property rights, but from a fan perspective, it still feels incomplete without them. The other major negative is the lack of floor tiles. Large sections of exposed studs throughout the interior really take away from the aesthetic. Fully tiled floors would have dramatically elevated the look and pushed this set into another tier visually. Because of those two issues, I’m giving this set a 7 out of 10. With minifigures and proper floor tiling, this easily could have been a 9 or even a 9.5. That said, for the price and the amount of detail you get, it’s still a strong recommendation—especially if you’re into haunted builds or gothic modular-style displays. It looks fantastic lit up and fits beautifully into a spooky street lineup. A flawed but very cool display piece.

Starting with this means finding the necessary space to and putting aside the time to construct it. Starting a few hours a week and not sure how long it will take to complete but its a marathon not a sprint. The pieces are as expected and instructions pretty clear. But with this many pieces, make sure to follow the instructions and keep your pieces in order. Then go ahead and get creepy and kooky!
