This Lego set was very easy to build and a lot of fun for my family and I. The instructions were clear and the bags were labeled for easily assemble. This set did take a little while to build, but was absolutely worth it. I would recommend this set for any adult Lego builder and for any enthusiast.

My 6 year old begged for this set for over a year. We couldn't justify the cost and couldn't get past the "18+" age recommendation. Well, he earned the money himself so this massive set is now ours and we couldn't be happier. The pieces are divided into bags making each section more manageable. Like all lego sets, the instructions are complete and for this set come as "The Battle Plan". You start by building a very shallow basement followed by the first floor. The true basement is built towards the end and is in the back of the house. The only battery operated part is the furnace however there are many other movable parts such as the paint can falling down the stairs, the train and record player, the collapsing bookshelf in Buzz's room, and the whole set opening to display all the rooms. Our entire family enjoys working on this together and checking each day's progress. We average 2 hours a week and have been workup on it for 2 months. We are nearing completion! ... show more

I purchased this for my daughters birthday present and she absolutely loves is. we spent 4 days working together on it and it was a great bonding time. The product is somewhat easy ( just have to be patient) and make sure everything is being put one EXACTLY where its suppose to) otherwise your gonna have to go redo alot of it. Its very sturdy and large so a nice big base to install ontop would help move it around. Well worth the money and lots of fun( challenging). Highly recommend! ... show more

We all know Legos are expensive so I cannot say it is a great value, but my daughter wanted this for Christmas. It isn't "easy" to assemble, but it shouldn't be because it is for 18+. She needs help putting it together but she is 11. I am enjoying helping and all the little details included in the set are pretty cool! They include a little spider, a sled for Kevin to go down the steps and so on. If you child likes Legos I recommend this set. ... show more
