My wife got me this Harry Potter Lego set for my birthday. Even though the price is a little higher, it is well worth the money. This Lego set comes with a brief overview of the team that put this set together and a neat informational piece about the set. This set has an incredible amount of detail from each book/movie. This is my first “large” Lego set I’ve built which took me a few days but everything is clear and concise in the manuals and the overall product looks great! This set is quite large, taller than it is wide. It is separable into two pieces when completed. Any child or adult will be happy with this set whether they like the Harry Potter series or not.

This is by far one of the greatest LEGO sets I ever build. I’m in seventh grade and I need something to keep me entertained. I loved building LEGO sets once I was in second grade so I think this was going to be a good set. When I got it the box was huge. I started building it one they delivered my package. I wasn’t to hard or to easy to make it. It took about 20 hours to build in total. It was a great leaning experience and the perfect level for building. I have trouble paying attention in class and I’m not really that interested in learning but this was actually fun. Maybe the price was high but it was worth it. The set is pretty big comparing it to other LEGO Harry Potter sets.i have this on display in My room for a while and it still looks very good. The details look just like the real one but too many stickers. There is about three full pages of stickers. I would definitely recommend to any one who needs entertainment during the pandemic.

Albeit expensive, this is a very impressive set. I got this for my daughter as a Christmas present. She is a huge Harry Potter fan. We are still building but so far I am completely blown away with the detail this set has. It’s mind boggling how a Lego designer came up with this build. I have such respect for their design skills. With the amazing detail comes a very tedious build. There are a lot of small pieces that require precise assembly. If you like that sort of attention to detail you will love this set. You get 4 regular sized figures. The micro figures are nothing more than drone figures. They do give the smaller scale rooms some realism but there’s no other purpose for them. We also purchased one of the 3rd party light kits and are installing them as we build. All parts come in sequential bags so you build small amounts of parts at a time. My only complaint is the instructions are not completely clear. Some pieces are shown graphically where they go and others are shown already in place so you spend some time playing “Where’s Waldo?” comparing pictures in the instructions to your build. This has lead to having to take things apart to place missing pieces and in some cases accidentally using the wrong colored piece in a assembly step. It’s not a problem if you are patient. That’s is the key here, patience. At the point we are at I am guessing that complete assembly will take about 30 hours. I can already tell that this set will be breathtaking when it’s completed. As a child I always wanted one of these large Lego sets. I love it and so does my daughter. Having a background in plastic molding I can see why the set is so expensive. The tooling required to produce some of the pieces in this set had to cost a small fortune. If you can swallow the cost I highly recommend this set. It is truly amazing.
