The clock and all the other features work great. We are very happy with the thermometer and the moon phases features. The only issue is that the frames look quite cheap. Only the silver and white ones look more or less stylish.

The clock looks great on the bathroom wall. I did notice that it runs a bit fast and has gained a couple minutes over a few months. This requires taking it down and adjusting the time. Overall, a good purchase.

The media could not be loaded. The LCD Clock/Temp size is really nice, not too big or small for most situations. The removable frames are REALLY NICE, I really like the wood one the most. However, I'm very disappointed with the viewing angles, esp. the straight on viewing angle, it's blurry, like double vision. From other angles, above, below and to the sides, sometimes it's tack sharp and sometimes faded / washed out. This reminds me of the Motorola Xoom tablet I had, great hardware and aesthetics, but they used a poor display and the display like for this and for the tablet is the most important feature. No matter how nice the hardware, design or accurate it is, if the display doesn't look good, it takes away from everything else. Does that mean it's not good? Well, it's functions as it should (clock/temp,) but LCD display is disappointing, but if you're at least 3 feet away from the display it becomes less noticeable, so it's not a deal breaker. This is a nice, large clock which shows lots of other information too. The lack of a backlight might be an issue in some situations, but where I have it the clock is not far away and the numbers are so big that it isn't a problem. Changing the color of the clock frame is simple because they are just held on by magnets. The silver one seems to have a stronger magnetic attraction than the others. I'm not sure why they included a black one since the clock without any frame is black and looks fine as is (as shown in one of the photos). The instructions aren't the greatest, but that's not a problem since setting it up is intuitive. Just press and hold the set button on back until things start flashing, then change the numbers with the up and down buttons. I have not tried the alarm clock settings. Since this doesn't have a backlight or even a button to press for a backlight, I don't find it useful in the dark and probably won't use that feature. Quality seems decent. I wouldn't want to drop it for fear it might break. There are a couple of small pits in the stainless frame. I do like that it runs on batteries so I can put it wherever I want. The current price is $25.07. I think that's a little high given that it does not have a backlight. Since it runs on battery power a backlight would probably drain them too quickly, but a button to press to turn on a backlight as needed would be nice. ... show more

    • Clock you can place anywhere
The clock is great, honestly. You can read the screen from across the room and the various faceplates look fairly nice. We chose to use the bamboo plate though we will probably change it up when the mood hits. I love that we can place it literally anywhere without having to worry about where to plug it in but I do wish there was at least an option cord we could use if we wanted to plug it in.... I suggest rechargeable batteries for anyone getting this clock. Another drawback to it only being battery powered is that the screen does NOT light up. So if you are going to put this in a bedroom or something, you won't be able to read it unless you get really close to it. All in all, it is a good clock. ... show more
