I purchased these for my small patio and they are perfect! I didn't want anything too heavy or clunky or with a thick cord and these fit the bill. The bulbs are on the smaller side and I like that. I like that the bulbs are plastic because they look nice, they don't break when you're hanging them and they should not break in the wind. Haven't had them long enough to really know if they are weatherproof. These are very bright lights, so I am glad they are dimmable. I purchased the smart dimmer as an accompanying purchase for this and it works great. I am very happy with the way everything turned out and just love these lights!!! This set came in x2 100ft strands that connect to give you 200ft of lights. We ended up only needing 1 set and will keep the other set as backup. We needed lights that weren't too heavy but still offer brightness and I think we hit the jackpot with this set. The bulbs were already attached. When we plugged it in, a few bulbs didn't light up, but we realized they just needed to be tightened and then we were good to go. The set did come with 4 extra bulbs. We do plan to take these down for the winter just to help with it's longevity. I will report back if these fail sooner than expected. ... show more
