We wanted a sturdy set of plastic cereal bowls that wouldn't chip or shatter easily. These do the trick, but they aren't exactly what we wanted. These are the perfect size and shape for cereal or soup; but they are a bit thinner and softer than we expected. They also did not come in the color that we wanted (white). They hold up fine in the microwave and they are good for hand washing. They don't do well in our dishwasher, however. The water pressure flips them over. Overall, we like them. The best thing about these bowls is that food heats quickly in them in the microwave and they do not get hot like most bowls. This is great!
