I was surprised at how easy to use the door bar was. I only used it to secure doors, but I tested it with a friend and they were unable to force their way in with the bar in place. Despite this, it is very easy to remove the bar to quickly exit through the door. For the price this is an excellent choice for home or travel security, and disassembles easily to fit it into a suitcase. I was impressed by the look of the device too, it has a functional form but is not garish or unpleasant to look at.

The security bar is easy to assemble and is lightweight but seems strong enough. It doesn't keep my door as tightly closed as I would like, though so far my own test efforts have failed to dislodge it by going outside and pushing against the door. The bar might be more securely held were the floor to be wood or tile, but this room is carpeted. I find it tends to wobble just a bit once put in place and grasped as a test. Other buyers might have different findings.

Just moved into a new place and wanted something for my front door and this is great. Easy to use and easier to put together. Doesn't ruin your door but it does make you feel safe. The rubber at the bottom grips against my floor perfect. I need a travel one now for hotels.
