Nice Rack!!! Well built and installation was pretty straight forward. I put Lock-Tight on every nut before tightening down to make sure that there is no risk of road vibration working them loose. Put on a 2006 Ford E250 and carry a 33 foot and a 27 foot ladder strapped with 2 inch velcro straps and have no worries about loosing them at highway speeds. I really like that there are multiple tie-down options on the racks - holes for bungies or ratcheting tie downs and cleats at the end of each rack to secure ropes to if needed. It's also nice that the vertical bars can be re-positioned from side to side. This made it possible to guarantee that my ladders can't move from side to side. Will probably buy again for other work vehicles.

I ordered this product that looks tough to me and arrived day before their delivery schedule. It is exactly what i've expected for easy to assemble very solid and well match with my e series ford van. I recommend this product for less expensive price high quality.

I put this Rack on my Chevy Express van. The installation was very fast and simple , one man job. I like the rubber covers for the side brackets to help prevent corrosion on rain gutter and top of van. Once assembled the rack was sturdy and solid for my ladders and pipe.

Pretty decent racks. Instructions a bit hard to understand but with some time figured them out. Works good for my ladders but would be nice to have a spacing requirements. Also the guides really don’t make sense and would be nice to have some guidance on those. I would buy again as they are pretty sturdy. Con: All hardware is junk steel. Should all be stainless steel as they are going to rust. The little black rubber protectors are junk. I added snake skin to mine to protect the rain gutter.

The workmanship and quality appears satisfactory, however the length of the center tube steel is only 45 and 1/2 inches. This leaves only 1-1/2 inches on each end to slide into the receiver. This makes the set useless to support any significant weight. Also the bracket hold down bolts are not long enough for the nylon nut to even engage. I will now have to fabricate new pieces. and paint. Very disappointing.

We've been using and appreciating this system for a year or more now for general use and it does what it says, but recently we had no choice but to test the weight limits of this set and I feel inclined to give a review based on that experience...we placed over 800 lbs of sheet goods and lumber atop this 3 rail system on our van when we had an issue with an out of town property and had no trailer at hand. I was a bit worried about the gutters caving under the weight much more so than I was about the rack itself not supporting it (the rack is solid). quite frankly, when we loaded that thing up at the home supply, I thought back to a time several years ago I helped a friend do something similar...but that event was one of those "not-at-all-planned=shtf time" things that we laughed about for years and years after hah. But this day I wasn't looking for comic relief... I felt like there was a good chance, at best, I'd have to relocate the supports for bending the gutters on the drive to our site but to my relief that did not occur. The guys at the store and even a passerby all commented on the same thing..."you sure it's gonna hold it?"...my answer was that the rack would no doubt but how the rack might impact the gutters was to be determined.Seems that the spread of the grips is sufficient for the weight distribution as we dealt with a few miles of rough dirt road and thousands of bumps at a slow speed. The load never moved, the slides stay locked in place and were a great thing to have for attaching the tie down straps to and through. Most importantly, I removed the system and then I rolled a ball bearing along the gutters on both sides...flawless...as in not even a tiny divot where the feet were locked onto the gutter...very pleased with this product but will take a trailer next time regardless of what I think we're getting into :)
