  • Our unique Three-bolt Lock design makes it compatible to most van rain gutters; while keeping the stability for the loads, it is easy to install & uninstall.
  • The X27-T features the Adjustable Middle Bar design which fits the new model van with uneven roof. It has an adjustable range of 28.5 mm. It fits both the older models and newer model vans, making it universal to most cargo vans.
  • The Protective Rubber Covers on both upright clamps prevent metallic friction on the rain gutters, which can also further reduce chance of rusting. The X27-T also comes with six Adjustable Ladder Stoppers; (two for each bar), they provide the convenience and security for multiple ladder carrying.
  • The adjustable middle square bar of model X27-T is built with the thickness of 1.5mm steel and 2mm actual thickness of steel plates are used on both side mounting base.
  • The Oval Shape design of the upright clamps is Height-reduced, ( less than 11 while installed ); this design not only prevents water leakage & improves wind noise problems, it also makes your vehicle more accessible to most height restrictions.

We've been using and appreciating this system for a year or more now for general use and it does what it says, but recently we had no choice but to test the weight limits of this set and I feel inclined to give a review based on that experience...we placed over 800 lbs of sheet goods and lumber atop this 3 rail system on our van when we had an issue with an out of town property and had no trailer at hand. I was a bit worried about the gutters caving under the weight much more so than I was about the rack itself not supporting it (the rack is solid). quite frankly, when we loaded that thing up at the home supply, I thought back to a time several years ago I helped a friend do something similar...but that event was one of those "not-at-all-planned=shtf time" things that we laughed about for years and years after hah. But this day I wasn't looking for comic relief... I felt like there was a good chance, at best, I'd have to relocate the supports for bending the gutters on the drive to our site but to my relief that did not occur. The guys at the store and even a passerby all commented on the same thing..."you sure it's gonna hold it?"...my answer was that the rack would no doubt but how the rack might impact the gutters was to be determined.Seems that the spread of the grips is sufficient for the weight distribution as we dealt with a few miles of rough dirt road and thousands of bumps at a slow speed. The load never moved, the slides stay locked in place and were a great thing to have for attaching the tie down straps to and through. Most importantly, I removed the system and then I rolled a ball bearing along the gutters on both sides...flawless...as in not even a tiny divot where the feet were locked onto the gutter...very pleased with this product but will take a trailer next time regardless of what I think we're getting into :) ... show more

Pretty decent racks. Instructions a bit hard to understand but with some time figured them out. Works good for my ladders but would be nice to have a spacing requirements. Also the guides really don’t make sense and would be nice to have some guidance on those. I would buy again as they are pretty sturdy. Con: All hardware is junk steel. Should all be stainless steel as they are going to rust. The little black rubber protectors are junk. I added snake skin to mine to protect the rain gutter. ... show more

I think this is a great product so far for my 2010 Express van. Product did come with chips on it despite the fact it was shipped in bubble wrap and cardboard. I will just get some touch up paint so it doesn't rust. The only issue i see/hear is the vibrating sound. It starts around 55mph. The faster you go the louder it gets. It appears to be the wind hitting the flat square cross bar. They need to make a wind reflector or something for that. ... show more

Nice Rack!!! Well built and installation was pretty straight forward. I put Lock-Tight on every nut before tightening down to make sure that there is no risk of road vibration working them loose. Put on a 2006 Ford E250 and carry a 33 foot and a 27 foot ladder strapped with 2 inch velcro straps and have no worries about loosing them at highway speeds. I really like that there are multiple tie-down options on the racks - holes for bungies or ratcheting tie downs and cleats at the end of each rack to secure ropes to if needed. It's also nice that the vertical bars can be re-positioned from side to side. This made it possible to guarantee that my ladders can't move from side to side. Will probably buy again for other work vehicles. ... show more

I like the square bars as they hold my kayak racks upright. They were also fairly easy to install. My only complaint is that the rubber coating on the clamps intended to protect the vehicle paint get squished and deformed when installing and would catch rain or just plain look bad. Nice solid rack. Only complaint is that the powder coating isn’t the best. Had numerous chips upon arrival. The packaging was good and no damage to the outside of the box so either they were chipped before being boxed up or the powder coating didn’t adhere properly.
