This was actually made for a different vehicle, not my '97 Astro van, however; the pieces are well built and all hardware is Stainless Steel, & since no rack systems are sold for my van I would adapt it. I was able to bend the brackets to match the roof angle and use the braces under the roof to strengthen where they mounted, making it very secure. Ordered this rack a few weeks ago and was exactly as described. Great value for a sturdy aluminum rack. This rack is a good quality rack at a great price. Was easy to install but was a little time consuming for I person. The mounting brackets could have used a little better description pertaining to how they install. I would advise to lay everything out on the floor before you install. Awesome rack I can't say enough about it. Looks great on my nv200. ... show more
