I love the sandy look of these boat shoes. They are a perfect look for the summer. They have a padded insole that I think is quite comfortable and light, but it can be removed if desired. The shoes are technically no tie laces, although the laces do have ends with knots. You can change where the knots are to adjust the tightness/fit slightly, which I like. Fit & Comfort: Like Walking on Memory Foam-Flavored Clouds Right out of the box, these shoes felt light—like “Did the shipping company forget to pack the shoes?” light. But slip them on and bam—you’re met with a breathable washed cotton upper and a soft lining that make your feet feel like they just checked into a spa. On a hot day, these shoes don’t just breathe—they practically exhale. I spend a lot of time on my feet, and these have quickly become my go-tos for everything from errands to impromptu dog walks that somehow turn into 5Ks. The insole is better than my Hey Dudes (sorry, dudes), and the soles are noticeably thicker—a godsend for my flat-footed friends. I can walk longer, stand taller, and complain less about my arches. Versatility: From Backyard BBQs to Casual Boardrooms These loafers don’t scream “formal,” but they politely whisper, “I have my life together.” They pair well with jeans, chinos, or that one pair of cargo shorts you won’t let go of.     • Comfortable and lightweight summer shoes.

I got the Beige variant in size 9. My usual shoe size is US men’s regular 8.5 but these fit well. The shoe is very well constructed, even for a casual-style shoe. The shoe upper is soft and airy. The back of the shoe doesn’t scratch against my talon/heel. The inner sole is soft and provides a nice cushion while the outer sole looks like it provides good traction against slipping. Since it’s very lightweight, this will be part of the gear I will pack for travel this summer. All in all, this is a very comfortable and lightweight shoe perfect for the summer and warmer days. Thase are a fantastic alternative to the name brand that is dominating the market now (** dudes). They have a nice look, a nice fit and finish and are super comfortable. As you can see from the attached pictures, the insoles are made of 3/8" thick, shock absorbing foam, which feels really nice on your feet. I normally take a size 10 1/2 or 10 1/2 wide and I bought the 11 and they fit nice. I usually wear socks and they are just a tad bit loose (but super comfortable). But if you don't wear socks, you might want to downsize a half size. These have a nice color and a nice soft fabric that fits nicely on your feet. As to durability, I haven't owned them long enough to testify to that, but I'm sure they'll last a while. Give them a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised. ... show more

I was skeptial of these at first after seeing the very square-edged insoles. I found myself regretting my skeptability after wearing these out the first time, however. I found these to be very comfortable with no socks and my feet stayed relatively cool, given the circumstances. I first wore these out to EPCOT for about 4 hours and was pleasantly surprised that the insoles did a great job of forming to my foot and the canvas upper was able to let my foot breathe a bit and keep from becoming a sweat puddle. I had no rubbing from anywhere and got no blisters. I really enjoy these shoes and look forward to wearing them! ... show more

These PITAS shoes are amazingly comfortable! Great quality and fit very well. These boat shoes are made of a canvas material and include a navy blue stitching in some areas. But what is so impressive, is the shoes soles and insoles. The soles are really thought out and cushioned with an almost like an air foam sole; so walking is a dream. These are so comfortable, I literally could walk around all day with no complaints. The insoles are nice too and can be removed if needed. I highly recommend! ... show more

These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight on your feet. The soles and insoles are the best part of the shoe. It almost feel like you're walking barefooted except with soft padding underneath. I like the styling of the shoe. It gives you a casual laid-back look. The size is accurate for US measurements. The only minor issue for me is slipping it on. You need to use your hand to pull up the back of the shoe to get it on. No big issue but it would be great if it was a true slip on. ... show more
