Rack seems well constructed, easy to assemble, however the included safety pins did not line up to secure the rack in both required spots. Simple fix was to purchase replacement cotter pins with slightly narrower diameter (1/4 inch by 3 inch). I had to purchase the pins at the local hardware store, (@ $12.00)) but they did the trick. Definitely a must have for bike 🚲 transporting. I have to be honest I was a little skeptical because it not a name brand but I was wrong. Does the job and you don't here any raddling or clicking noises while driving and I live on bumpy road.

    • Solid bicycle rack, poor construction
I read reviews after I purchased and ordered the bicycle rack. Most of the complaints were that the pins did not align with the holes for the various locking positions. When the rack arrived, I carefully followed the instructions in assembling the rack, which I did not find to be complicated in any way. I did have problems with the pins not aligning with the holes. I can easily correct the problems by drilling the holes a little larger which I have not yet done, but good quality control should have prevented this. I can see where someone less skilled would be frustrated with this otherwise very sturdy product. I give the product an overall three star rating. If quality control in the manufacture was better, I could have given five stars for value for money. The lock feature speaks for itself. ... show more

    • Simple rack for short hauls
This is a great rack for local riding, I don't think I would trust it for a long haul. Although it would probably be fine. Easy to assemble. I've only used it for 1 bike, so I'm not sure how 2 fit. I think the bungee is a pain to deal with, I'm going to figure out some straps or something that is quick and easy to secure the bike to the upright tube. I'm totally pleased with my purchase and would recommend it. ... show more

Everything fit together perfectly. Many of the old reviews mentioned hardware/holes issues, the company must have fixed that. Holds two 26" bikes tidily behind our '21 Telluride. Easily folds down with bikes on to access the back hatch. Would recommend as a good entry-level rack for occasional use. If you use the included stabilizer it would great for more long term use. ... show more

    • Product Defects and carrier not as described
I would not recommend this carrier. It has several defects. The safety pin will not go through on the upper legs because the holes do not line up. They are sending me a new safety pin, but its the holes that are the issue. I could find a machinest to bore out the holes. The assembly required several tools. I bought it because I needed something that could be lowered such that I could get into the back of my truck if I had a flat. I will say the seller was cooperative and that's the only reason I am giving a 2, however in the end they finally disclosed that this carrier does not work with a woman's bike. I hope anyone considering this product reads all the customer reviews. There are several men out there whom have refabricated this carrier to make it work for their bike. I am a 68 year old widow who has no one to refabricate and just was advised by seller that the carrier will not work with her new bike. I hope if they continue to sell they change their information as described. I'm going to suck this up because to get it taken apart, packaged and sent back to seller is not worth my time and gas. The dimensions on the drawing are incorrect. 7” is not from the hole to the gusset, more like the hole to the inside of the tube. Nice rack though,

    • Functional bike carrier with adjustments
The holes for the safety pin at the arm assembly did not line up. I was determined not to return it so I reamed them out to allow the safety pin to fit. Everything else fit well and the stabilizer is excellent. It has small reflectors on the arm assembly which were a good idea but they fall off so have to be glued back on. It is now a functional bike carrier and I didn’t have to return it. If I didn’t have to make it functional it would be a 5 star. ... show more
