This quickly read and cleared codes in the vehicles I tried it on that needed it. In comparison, the multiple OBDII reader apps on my phone often have trouble connecting to the Bluetooth scanner and it always takes longer then this when it does work. Considering that one of the main reasons I needed something like this is just to clear a code that keeps popping up, this is a much better way to go. This is also more convenient when checking out used vehicles since it doesn't require entering a bunch of information into the app, it just scans and gives the information you need. This A-Premium AD200 is massively better than my simple OBD2 code scanner and is no more expensive than when that was new. The OBD2 connection cable is 44 inches so there is no more crawling under the dash to read codes, you just sit up and get the work done or have a passenger monitor during on-road diagnosis. In addition to a wide range of functions it includes on-screen help describing what those functions are doing and measuring. The instruction sheet is brief but has plenty of information to get you used to using the interface to find specific sensor data to evaluate. I am most impressed that it records data streams and has graphic value versus time charts built in which is a HUGE help reducing guesswork in chasing dynamic faults. It also has record and print capabilities through a mini-USB port that I have not tried out yet. I do think it will be good to collect baseline data while everything is working properly so I have a reference when the inevitable faults occur. ... show more

I have a wireless ODB2 Scanner that works with the cellphone and a App, This is a wired ODB2 and offers everything we need to scan my car, Display is clear and the ODB2 itself is fast. The manual comes in 3 languages EN, ES and FR, really useful to check what's wrong the car and decide what to do.

It read the code P0170 lean too rich. I replaced the o2 sensor and downstream. Now the code disappeared.

this is a decent code scanner. it works for my car (Benz). Don't expect this it be on the level of a high end shop/mechanic scanner/diagnostic machine. It's just not as detailed as those. But for little simple home diy things, this is fine, especially considering how cheap it is. This will more than adequately serve the needs of most people doing simple car fixes and repairs. And if there's something more serious you can't fix at home, at least you'll have a better idea what's actually wrong when you take it to a specialist. ... show more
