Overall I'm pleased with this ladder. The lower 1/3 is very sturdy feeling and I have no concerns. The middle 1/3 it begins to feel a bit unstable but still seems usable. The top 1/3 does not feel sturdy at all, obviously it is going to be the thinnest section of the ladder and the instructions indicate you shouldn't use the top 20% or so of the ladder anyway. It will work for what I need, but am a little disappointed that I don't believe I could use to actually get on the roof (which is not why I purchased, but would have been nice). It also seems heavier than described, but still manageable for one person. And getting it extended takes a little bit of work... the best way seems to lay it flat and then pull it out along the ground.

This ladder has a lot going for it. It’s light weight and easy to carry when compacted to its smallest size. Easy to open and even easier to compact it down. The construction is great and felt comfortable enough to hold my weight while I cleaned my gutters. Don’t hesitate in this one. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a pretty big and heavy ladder, way heavier than i expected. Also, i went with the “multi button” version, and wish the listing wasn’t such a pile of garbage and explained the difference between all ladders a little better. The ladder is pretty compact when folded, its all stainless steel and plastic. Its easy to extend it, but to retract-it takes getting used to. There are 2 buttons to release each step, on left and right of the step. If you push both buttons in-that one step falls down, smacking your hands pretty severely, so it takes a moment to get the timing right to prevent that. I got the ladder for an RV, and its way more than i’d need to a typical RV. There is a strap with a buckle that hold the ladder from accidentally extending. Its easy is way more convenient in use and storage than a typical extension ladder, but also might not be as heavy duty

I would fully admit that I am pushing the 330 lb weight limit of this ladder, and while it does hold me up, it feels sketchy doing it. I got the 12 ft, stainless steel version thinking it would be stronger than the aluminum. As a penalty, it's kind of heavy, no worse than a regular ladder, but not something you just pick up casually. The amount of flex I got in the 12 ladder at full extension! by the time I was 6-7 ft high, it was almost vertical. If I only extend it to roughly 8ft, it does ok and feels like a normal ladder. Again, keep in mind I am near the weight limit. If are lighter, you would probably have better success with it.
