This is a very good quality item overall. I was surprised how small it cam packaged up but once assembled it is a pretty impressive piece of equipment. Some assembly notes for you based on my mistakes. There is a silver piece of plastic that has to go on before screwing the middle portion of the upright rod into the bottom portion with the tension spring. DO NOT FORGET to apply that. Once they are together I haven't been able to separate them again in order to apply the piece I forgot. Maybe I'll be able to get them apart but it seems if you really screw in the middle portion it locks in due to the nature of the spring gripping it. As I saw someone else comments and I also found frustrating, they provide a single wrench and you need two to hold the bolt and tighten the nut for attaching the bag portion so it doesn't spin. The locking nut otherwise will just spin the bolt around so that would have been nice to have included. I was also a bit surprised that they didn't use the allen wrench type screws. Instead the screws are all phillips and can be screwed in with the other side of the allen wrench tool. That said it isn't a great fit so you might want to just get out a screwdriver to get a better fit and not strip the screws or cause issues. I'd also really recommend using sand over water for the weighing down the base. One other comment I have is that I could do with a small length on the tension screw for adjusting and holding the height of the bag. The knob sticks out quite a bit and is pretty large. I wouldn't want to accidentally hit is or catch something on that and a shorter smaller knob would still get the job done with less chance of that happening. The spring itself works well to take the punch and bring the bag back, but I don't believe there is a method to change the speed of the bag return or adjust the tension applied unless it's by how far you screw in the middle to the spring portion and I just overdid it and can't get it lose now. Overall it's a nice item and seem comparable to much more expensive items with the absence of the speed adjustment and no gloves as a note. Just don't make my mistake and make sure to add the spring cover before screwing those two sections together!

Out of the box it was a simple setup. About 10 minutes from start to finish. No issue I did run into was that the two bolts online that held the punching bag onto the main Pole they weren't long enough so I had to get two screws out of my toolbox and put through there but I mean that was nothing but that's my only complaint. I've had this for 4 days now and water both both sides not a drop is leaked it's sturdy you can you do some damage on this thing and it will not knock over it's going to stay put and stays upright and it's going to keep on going. Definitely worth the money. I had one that cost almost double this and wasn't nowhere near as good as this one. This is great to have it home it takes up no room at all if you need to move it picking it up is a little much but I easily slide it from the corner of the room out to where I need it with no problem. It does exactly what it says it's going to do and that's giving you a great workout and it's a great stress reliever!

I bought another punching bag earlier for my daughter which cams with punching gloves. I was surprised that this punching bag did not include gloves. I had to buy them separately.

We really like this boxing bag. It’s sturdy and when filled with water in the base, doesn’t seem to move when punched. My kid enjoy it, but it’s a bit too hard for kids to punch without boxing gloves. The spring works well and it snaps back into place easily. The whole item seems durable and should last a long time.

Set this bag up in no time — seriously, it was out of the box and bouncing back at me before I even broke a sweat. The setup was super straightforward, and filling the base with water ( I also did a teaspoon of bleach since the water will be there for a while) was a breeze. No mess, no fuss, just twist it open, pour it in, and you're ready to rumble. The build quality is solid. The bag itself feels like it can take a real beating — no cheap vinyl or sad stitching here. It snaps back quickly, holds its height adjustment without slipping, and just feels like something you'd find in a legit training setup, not a toy store. Durability-wise, it’s been through plenty of sessions and hasn’t shown any signs of wear.
