I thought it was gonna be an easy build, but man, was I wrong. Looking at the instructions was like trying to crack a cipher. The parts list don’t coincide with the build, not to mention the labeled parts that are supposed to be the same are different sizes. I took measurements of all the rails kitted (which were in metric) and they were not what was listed on the drawing even after conversions. I had so many problems with the first kit I had to ask for a replacement to get the parts I needed to finish the run. Oh, that didn’t work either as the second box had the same problem as the first one. I am so frustrated with this run. I’m hoping I can get it together as I need to move my chickens in there soon. I will have to say even though this kit is a waste of time and I about had to beat my head into the tree, I’ve gotta say Amazon tried to make it right both times and I gotta give them credit for that. ... show more

Very easy to put together. Having lived in the desert for several years, I chose not to use the included zip ties to fasten the mesh to the frame because they dry and become very brittle in The Arizona sun after 1 season. I went with metal bands/zip ties instead.

This is a was easy to put together. I did it on my own in about 4 hours. We only had one miss bolt and the direction aren't great but easy to figure out. If you are in a high wind area or snow are it will need tpost to hold it down and reinforcement for the roof. If you have predators you will also want to reinforce as chicken wire is only good for keeping chickens in not predators out. I will definitely be get another one. ... show more

Not impressed The quality of materials were not the kind that will hold up for years. Most importantly to note we had a couple missing pieces. My husband had to get creative while putting it together. Also the directions leave a lot up to the imagination as well. Don't get me wrong I find overly wordy instructions frustrating, but these were laughably non-instructive. ... show more

I wish Amazon had minus stars. The one time I didn’t read the reviews. This is the worst project I have ever worked on, and I build elevators for a living. Like all the other reviews the items are miss labeled which makes the directions useless. I had to take apart and put back together at least three times. I would recommend if you do by this coop ignore all the labels get a tape measure and group all the like pieces together, and use the picture as a reference as to how many of the same size pieces go where, it took me about 4 hours to get the frame right and then trying to figure out the door I just called it a night. We bought this to put together as our chicken run. Upon opening the box, the instructions call for two of the pieces of pipe labeled 6. But in the book, you can clearly see that it only comes with one. In another instance, it says to connect the pipe labeled 7 to the piece labeled P, but there’s no physically possible way for this to happen. Also, as you can see in the pictures. I’m very disappointed that I spent $200 on this and I’m having to go spend more money so I can complete it. Many of the other pieces were bent, and broken. Buyer beware. We read all of the reviews. It didn’t have good rating, but we bought it anyway. It was a struggle to put together. It took way longer than expected. The directions were horrible and the parts were mislabeled. The box was not big enough for the poles. The box was damaged. I will only recommend it if you do not need directions and have lots of patience and willing to redo and undo and redo and undo over again. Best of luck to you. ... show more
