You almost don't even have to think about whether or not to get these lights. Get them! The price is amazing, and the functionality is so on point. I purchased the eight pack of the white motion sensor lights for my 93-year-old friend who fell last week because when she got up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, it was dark. For her, that meant she gets a little wobbly and disoriented. She fell and broke her foot and is now on a walker and in a boot. The first thing I did is bought her one of the motion activated lights for under her bed, which was great, but it lights up every time you walk by it. These lights light up every time you walk by them when it is dark out. I put a couple under her bathroom cabinet and one next to the toilet, which helps her make it safely to the commode and back to her bed. If you have any senior citizens in your life, these are a no-brainer gift to get them. However, they make sense for everyone. When the power goes out, they can easily light your path to wherever you keep the candles or flashlights. When you open your closet, they can give just enough light to give you the thing that you need to get quickly. They do not stay on for very long, which is a bonus to me because the batteries might wear out quicker. Here are a few features: They are small, so they fit everywhere. They are bright, so they illuminate a wide area. They are inexpensive and are sold in a multiple pack, which helps cover lots of dark areas. They're easy to install, using just a two-sided tape, so anyone can install them. They have options that come in different colors of red green blue and white if that's your preference. They take three, AAA batteries, which I anticipate changing quite infrequently. Get them. You were thinking about it, or you wouldn't be looking at this review. Best LED light adjustments available. I was especially pleased with the dimmable function. I only have one criticism, the 120 degree motion sensor angle. However, this seems to be the same in all of the products I looked at. Straight from the front, the range is over 10 feet which can be a problem if the light is directly in line with your bed. The light might turn on every time you roll over in bed. But, when the unit is approached from the side like in a hallway, the light might not turn on until you are within about 1 foot if you are walking close to the wall the light is mounted on. It would be nice if the sensor had 180 degree capability or it was mounted in an adjustable housing that can be rotated or if there were two sensors mounted at different angles. Any of these would allow function at farther distances when the light is approached from the sides. ... show more

So far these lights are amazing. We don't have a light switch at the bottom of our stairs. I placed these on every other stair and then two more at the bottom on each side. They give off just the right amount of light and stay on for about 20 seconds. They do take three AAA batteries each. Oof. I've only had them for about a week, so I can't speak to the battery life. I love them so far. I cleaned the wood with alcohol before sticking them on. So far, so good. ... show more

These have a good level of brightness for walking at night. I purchased the lights to illuminate the stairs for my 5 and 3 year old could walk downstairs at night to my room. I was concerned that one pack would not be enough for the stairs, but with the level of brightness it worked great. My main complaint is that the mechanism to keep the light on the wall is not strong. The l if hat have two small plastic prongs on the backing to lock the light in place. My 1.5 year old was capable of taking them off and in the attempt to put them back on the wall would easily break the plastic prongs off. The lights still work but we have to use them just leaning against the side. Within a month all the prongs were broken. If you don’t have small children this work great. If you have kids, remember you might have nice things but in a few weeks they will maybe look less nice. ... show more

Great quality. The motion sensors works better and quicker than other brands that I’ve tried. Installation was quick and easy, just put in batteries, stick and peel the double sided tapes that it comes with, and stick to where I needed it.
