I know most reviews say this is great for elderly, but it’s also great for the opposite age group, kids! I am a 5th grade teacher and bought this to keep by my restroom log. When kids sign out to use the restroom, they are able to write down the date and time they left and came back without any interruptions to the class. It is visible across the entire classroom and has really helped a lot. It has different brightness settings, multiple alarms that can be set easily (although I don’t use them because I set a timer for various activities), and it does not take batteries. It’s lightweight and can be wall mounted or it has a little peg that can push into the back to stand it up (like the old IKEA wood picture frames). Right now I have it standing up and it hasn’t been a problem, but I think I’m going to hang it on the wall either with a nail or with Command strips (since it’s pretty light). ... show more

I do wish I could stand it up on the dresser and it didn't have to be mounted.. But, waking up while still drowsy and wondering if 6:00 is in the morning or the evening is a great help. ... show more

OMG!!!..when you're retired this is the best clock for those who can't remember what day it is..helps to know the time, as well..everything is great about this clock..it's just perfect..even though I have it on the lowest brightness I still lay it flat at night so I can sleep..I know that defects the purpose of knowing what time it is but I can't sleep when the room is too bright..I am so glad I got it and I plan to buy this clock for a super-duper friend of mine for Christmas..can highly recommend this really for everyone not just necessarily for senior or dementia patients. ... show more
