I’m a photographer and videographer, so I spend long stretches of time at my computer. I just finished a two-hour editing session and, instead of sitting the whole time, I walked 2.5 miles at an incline. I actually worked up a sweat and feel way better than I usually do after editing. Normally my back hurts and I need to stretch or move around (kind of like after a long car ride), but after walking on this pad I feel great. A few things to know: Incline: The incline adjustment is manual — you raise the front using two screws underneath. It’s not a full-size treadmill where you can adjust the incline digitally. It’s either flat (0%) or raised (about 8%). I even added two same-size pads under the front screws to bump it up to around a 10% incline for a better workout. Size: It’s super compact, which is great for my small apartment. I’m 5'10", and when I walk fast my stride takes up almost the entire 45" length of the pad. If you’re taller, you might want to look for one that’s a little longer. Build quality: It feels really solid. I bought another walking pad before this that felt like junk — this one doesn’t. It feels sturdy and well-made. Speed: The top speed is 6.5 mph, which for me is a brisk walk. You’re not going to jog on this unless you’re pretty short. Overall, for the price, this thing is awesome. Some of the negative reviews out there seem to come from people expecting a $1,000 full-size treadmill. Set your expectations realistically and you’ll be happy. If you work from home, have a standing desk, and spend a lot of time sitting at your computer, this will seriously improve how you feel. I’ll update in a few months if anything changes.

I’ve been using this walking pad for a couple of weeks now, and overall it’s really good. The only thing that surprised me was how heavy it is — definitely not easy to move around (I learned that the hard way when I had to carry the box up the stairs by myself lol). But it’s quiet, feels like good quality, and does the job! I haven’t tried the app yet.
