If you order the bypass valve make sure you order these clips because they will come in handy when you remove the old valve, if you happen to brake them; but is is always good to put on the new clips when you replace the old valve anyway. They fit perfectly. They were a little taller, a good thing when needing to remove the clips to adjust things, redo stuff, etc. Used with the Whirlpool/Ecopure WHELJ-1. Pro tip: Even if you have shut off the water, make sure to relieve any outstanding pressure. Since you need the fittings to move a little bit in order to get the old items out, relieving that remaining pressure allows the jiggling that allows the locking clips to break free. ... show more

I used the kit to fix the Kenmore water softener. Tip, used the attached grease or silicone grease to make installing with rubber ring much easier, also prolong the life of the rubber ring.
