The media could not be loaded. Firstly, some of the instructions are not intuitive with the pieces. For example, there’s a magnetic piece, and some alignment pieces that weren’t explained really at all, but figuring it out was not overly complicated. Other than that the fan works wonderfully. The light is also LED and has warm or cool lighting. It’s not overly heavy or too light. It also features a security steel wire JUST incase of user error. We needed a much bigger fan for our living room because of the open concept and this one did the trick. It looks good and modern and moves a TON of air. The installation was a little frustrating because I had a two switch control and the instructions are only for a single switch. Bought 2 of these fans, should've read more information on them before purchasing. They are not metal as I thought, and bought them for outside, they are a wood material, hopefully they will hold up since they are under a awing and out of the weather.

Back in the day, a typical ceiling fan measured about 52 inches in diameter, and had three, four or five blades. This PUTROAD brand super fan measures a full 72 inches in diameter and has eight sturdy reversible wood blades, black on one side and brown wood-grain finished on the other. It also comes with three downrods, six inches, twelve inches and twenty-four inches long. The fan is driven by a direct-current motor, which offers forward and reverse operation, plus six speeds in each direction. It runs very, very quietly. It is designed to be direct-wired to your standard 120-volt electric circuit using a sturdy ceiling box intended to support the weight and the torque of a ceiling fan. Once installed, all the functions can be controlled by the handy remote control (included). This fan offers a bright LED light underneath, which is capable of producing 2000 lumens of illumination - and you get to choose between a warm white light of 3,000 Kelvin, a neutral white light of 4,000 Kelvin and a bright blue-white light of 6,500 Kelvin color temperature. We've installed it in a large game room and it is far more effective than the 52-inch fan that the building contractor put in the space.     • I'm a Big Fan

First, You MUST put on the blades or the fan will not work! You cant just install the hub and say, "Lets try it to see f it will work" there is some kind of electronics inside that will not allow it to run without the blades. Also, if it's running and you stop the blades, they stay stoped. You must turn the fan back on if it detects unusuall resistance and stops. You can't hang your underwear from it. It's not like an old school fan that you can stop and it will resume speed after it's released. (i try all sorts of things when I'm testing something, the manufacturer may not approve of my shennanigans) Now the fan itself is great, I have no complaints with it and it seems like a quality product.
