Update: seller reached out to me after my review to correct the issue. Based on their responsiveness and willing to make the situation right, I'm updating my review. Screws to secure blades to motor are wrong size and the phillips head strips when trying to install. Tried greasing them up, tried using drill and hand driving them but they are literally eating up the fan motor threads when trying to install ... show more

This fan is very solid and looks great. I have tall ceilings in a great room and it moves air very well. The only reason i gave it a four was because of the humming noise i can barely hear. If i had to choose between that noise and a $500 fan, ill take the noise. Its definitely worth every penny

We needed a larger fan with a light for our living room area. This did the trick! We are so pleased with this and the air that flows from this fan is so nice. We live in AZ and we are hitting 80 degrees and we just open the doors and put this on a 2 or 3 level and the breeze is beautiful
