I have an open office space and it’s the first room you see when you enter the house. I needed beautiful and functional. This was easy to assemble - takes time but the instructions were easy to follow and accurate. Once assembled the units are sturdy and stable. The two side by side were perfectly level. If you live in a walk-up apartment or condo, be prepared to pull your back carrying this up. It’s quite heavy, but that’s a good thing since it’s sturdy and the wood color is fantastic! I took the picture in two different lighting conditions, with a small moving box on top for scale. Assembling this cabinet is similar to assembling IKEA furniture, and you know how that goes. Make sure to have a power tool and set aside at least two hours if you’re doing it alone. You HAVE TO follow the instruction to the tea. Eliminate all distractions and lock in! It’s possible that you might crash out, but you’ll eventually get it done. There are minor cosmetic issues with the holes, as you can see in the picture, but they don’t significantly affect the overall assembly process. However, this happens to the adjustable shelf holes, which require hammering the shelf pegs, making it more challenging to adjust the height. When putting the cabinet doors together, it’s CRUCIAL to place the hinges halfway through and then adjust it slowly, otherwise, there will be a gap between the doors (refer to the picture). Don’t worry if that happens! They’ve provided a walk-through video under the product questions tab. Despite these minor issues, the cabinet turned out to be stunning! The warm color is not too overpowering, so it will complement most of your furniture and create a cohesive space. I particularly love the push-to-open feature of the top drawers. Each drawer can accommodate a gallon zip lock box, a quarter zip lock box, and two latex glove boxes perfectly. While it’s not a large and spacious cabinet, it’s an excellent addition if you need to store some kitchenware, pet food, toys, or even better, booze! ... show more

I cannot emphasize how poor of an experience purchasing this item was. Not only did pieces come damaged, but this is by far the hardest piece of furniture to put together I have ever witnessed. I would consider it 10 times more difficult than any IKEA item I have ever bought. I purchased two of these to match side-by-side, and after trying to complete the first one (which took several days and multiple people), I can clearly say that it still doesn’t quite look right. The cabinets are almost impossible to get exactly right and aligned. Not to mention you will definitely be required to glue pieces together at your own expense because things do not fit/catch properly. After returning the second unit after haggling with the seller, they did not issue me a refund until I opened up a claim with Amazon. They were hoping I wouldn’t notice that the refundwas never processed. It took over a month for them to finally give me my money back, trying to state they didnt receive the returned item, WHICH I NEVER EVEN OPENED!. Avoid this seller at all costs as well as purchasing this item. ... show more

Buy the cabinet. It's so beautiful once it's all put together. I worked on it with my boyfriend and it took us approximately 4 hours. I like putting furniture together because I can see what the finished product will look like. If that's not you... well. I wanted to give it a week and I believe I got my moneys worth. It's a little stiff for now but I'm hoping it'll loosen up over time so far it functions well. The measurements are great also, it fit perfectly in the spot.
