I got this macerator pump as the waste from my flushing toilet will have a goodly distance to travel when it is installed into the septic system. I’m not yet at the place where the toilet is ready for installation, so I’m going to review this pump out of the package and come back with an update when it is installed. Many times toilets, or an entire bathroom or laundry room, is down in a basement. Maybe the basement is down hill from the sewage or septic system and the sewage needs a boost to get where it needs to go. Otherwise, it can drain back down, toilets overflow, and things just get ugly from there. This pump is really strong and should prevent these problems. At 8/10 horse power, nearly a full horse, it provides powerful pumping. It can lift sludge 26’ straight up, or 260 linear feet, which is my need. I was particularly impressed with the plastic fittings and how thick those fitting walls are., it comes supplied with strong, high quality ring clamps. The pump itself is housed in a durable plastic box (nice in case of back flow or flooding). Installation instructions are superb, easy to understand and there is a great parts list. There is another picture, not an exploded diagram, but of where each part actually goes. Installation appears to be easy. If you have a low lying basement bathroom, this pump will meets your needs.

Took me 4 months to get it installed but the plumber finally came out and installed it. It doesnt work,my basement flooded. I think there has to be a valve that doesn’t work. Can’t return it anymore.

This is a solid seeming macerator pump. I have tested it, and everything seems to be working properly. Water flow is good, pump starts and stops properly. It is pretty small, so if there is a high lift, I'd be concerned about short cycling, but I'm only lifting water up about 8-9 feet (3m). The question is how long will it last before needing servicing. As with all my reviews, if longevity becomes a concern, I will update this review in the future.
