Blowing it up was easy, but ONlY because my partner is amazing and had various pumps and attachments from air mattresses that he repurposed for this. If you had to blow it up using your mouth, it’d take you days. This thing is enormous! There are four separate chambers (head, body, each wing), each with a different sized valve opening. I don’t know how sturdy it is, but judging from other reviews, it needs to be handled with care. As a decorative object for a party it’s great.

One of our favorite summer floats. We buy a new one every summer. But the fact that it actually lasts for a whole summer is awesome. Our kids and their friends are ROUGH with this thing! I need a boy version equivalent! It has two different spots for inflation, the body and the neck. The body is a large valve so it doesn’t take long with a pump. Value for money = 10/10. Age - any and everyone that can stay on!

Bought this and had it shipped to my mothers house who has a pool in preparation of our impending visit with our two boys, 12 and 9 years old. The boys loved this giant flamingo inflatable. It holds two people very comfortably, it’s big, and it withstood a week full of serious use. It held up, and had no problems. I was concerned about the quality before buying it, but no problems.

This years new flamingo was a huge disappointment. First of all it was supposed to be giant, large enough for two people, which it was not. As you can see in the picture, it deflated immediately. The unicorn (also in the picture from Amazon) bought four years ago still holds air and looks great so as you can imagine, we were very, unhappy with this brand new flamingo. Buyer beware.

We’ve had this float a few weeks and it’s great. Other reviews said it deflates but I think in extreme heat you lose a little air just like the tires of your car. Study enough that my husband can easily lounge on it. The price is fair and cheaper than the local pool supply company.

The kids loved it, but it is enormous so you better have a plan for storage or tying it down when not in use. It did only last one pool season, but that was pretty much expected. You’ll definitely want a pump to inflate.
