I've had this trash can for almost 2 years now, and I love it! It's still in the same condition it was when I first received it. It's hand free and easy to use - I use the larger area for recycling and the smaller area for garbage. The garbage bag fits tightly when using the small hole provided, and it keeps the smell inside the can. If I ever have to replace it, and I don't see that happening anytime soon, I will purchase this one again.

We've had this in our kitchen for a while now and the durability has been very solid. The lids are very light, so you don't have to step on the peddle very hard to open it. The soft-close feature means that the lids don't make any noise when they shut, and the two separate internal compartments make it easy to keep your recyclables and garbage separate. This one in particular has one compartment larger than the other. The larger side fits a standard kitchen garbage bag just right, but the bags are a little big for the smaller side. Fortunately both sides have a hole near the top where you can just press the top of the bag through from the outside to keep it from slipping down into the can. Overall would recommend, but when I need a replacement I think I will choose one with both compartments of equal size based on how much waste versus recycling we generate in our home. Choose the one that works best for you.

I like the function and the size. The materials look good. I don’t like the brand name on top, and after a few months of using it the bin for recycle materials had a couple of broken pieces from taking it out to empty, so I wish it was built a little stronger.

Nice dual trashcan but the search for liners is relentless. I'm trying to find a good fit for the trash side. The cinch part works and is a good bandaid but makes the prices of changing out the trash more cumbersome..

I wanted a large enough dual trash can with one side bigger than the other. This is because I recycle many more items than I put in the garbage. Before finding this one, I bought two other dual trash cans that I returned. One did not have inner buckets. The other one had a plastic top even though the rest of it was stainless steel. This trash can is all stainless steel and has a soft close top. The bucket on one side is bigger than the other, which is what I wanted. In fact, it was one of the largest in terms of gallons or liters that I could find. It is so annoying when you have to tear up cereal boxes or squash cartons just to be able to fit enough in your trash can. This one is quite spacious, especially on the side that I use for recycling.

This trash can works amazing. We use the large size for trash and the smaller size for recycling. In our area you cannot put plastic bags in the recycling, so the plastic bin that comes out is perfect to fill, dump, rinse, and return. The foot petal is easy for adults, but my 16 month old has not figured it out yet, thankfully.

I did a lot of scrolling before choosing this one and am overall happy. Very sturdy, without the bulky appearance of some. Lids and exterior wipe clean easily. Time will tell if rust appears, though I doubt it. I don't think I will ever need to clean interior. If I do, the removable buckets are very sturdy. Lids are very sturdy plastic and close tightly. You will not know in advance if you dont watch the video in third sceeen that it is not once, but double logo'd which I really hate and will paint over. (I expect to be paid to advertise a product. Wearing or displaying of logo for free is stupid). I like the separate foot pedals and lids. The odor control compartment is designed for specific EXPENSIVE (and eco UNFRIENDLY) activated charcoal packets that are not linked anywhere. You have to search separately. I use a recycled piece of cloth sprayed with essential oil (true natural peppermint is pest-deterent). If you want neutral activated charcoal, but coconut shell activated charcoal PELLETS in bulk and fill a small pouch or tea-bag sachet. $5/lb for bulk pellets vs $6.50 and up for the pre-made packets of uncertain charcoal origin. Though we return paid deposit-plastic, and soft plastic films separately, and compost biologics, this is just a bit small for two people with weekly trash pick-up. The larger side will take a standard 13 gal drawstring liner JUST barely, you will have to pull a drawstring tight and through outside hole back up under and out. The small side is very narrow/tall.
