I really like these small timers. The display can be hard to read at the wrong angle to the ceiling lights, but that is easy to correct and is easy to read at the right angle plus the fold down stand is a nice feature. I use them in a training game where each of 6 participants needs to record the start and finish time. The pack of 6 was perfect. Unfortunately, 1 of the 6 was dud - the display went blank after only 30 seconds or so, although after reinserting the battery several times it started to work again. I can't rely on that one. On 2 of the 6, the ON/OFF switch was upside down, but still shut off the display, just had to push up instead of down. They still work fine. However, at $2 each ($11.99 a set of 6) I just ordered 2 sets and have some spares just in case. If you use them with a team, make sure you test each one when you get them, so you don't disappoint the team. Bigger than I wanted and magnet not strong enough to keep it safely stuck on fridge. Also it takes AAA batteries which, yes, they are easier to come by but also are why the timer is bigger and heavier. A battery is not included, which is stated in the fine print of the product details, but i missed that. ... show more

The other five are great! Easy to use, easy to read, easy to install a battery, etc. Nice sound (not irritating). Probably won't contact Customer Service as I don't want to have to send the other 5 back.
