I needed a Light Socket Security Camera! Ididn't want a Solar Powered Security Camera, as front side of House facing North wouldn't get sun light very well, as I do not have Electrical Feed, except my Front Porch, & where & I needed a Security Camera. I have a Home on a lot with an alley running on west side of my House and the Renting Neighbors park in alley & cause whom ever goe's through the alley to drive in my yard & they back into their front door for whatever reason & drive in my yard to back in. I stacked cement blocks in edge of yard to keep any body from driving in my yard, & the neighbors plowed over cement blocks backing into their front door & Police said tire tracks into their front door & knocked over cement blocks isn't proof enough, so I purchased a SYMYNELEC 2.4GHz Security Camera because of it's durability & it works my 2.4 iphone & my 2.4 wifi so, G5 Camera wouldn't work for me! This Is a Very Very Nice Security Camera! & the images it captures are great Quality! I Included a Night Camera Shot, for you to see Quality of Imaging!

I bought this camera with skepticism. But after installing it, it works for me and what I'd like it to do. The cool thing is all the features that it has like, motion tracking/detection and sound detection, talking, listening, siren, moving the camera up/down and side/side. It's clear enough for me and at night it has three settings in night mode...smart mode which turns on the light and appears in color when it detects a human, Infrared mode-which is black/white and color light mode-the light stays on in this mode. Best part, you DO NOT have to pay for subscription and look at playback right on your phone's app once you install a mini SD card to the camera. It was hard for me to find a formatted TF FAT32 card. This company sells one but it's like $20. You can buy one from amazon, like i did for $10 ( Lexar 128GB) and format it yourself. It is sooo easy and takes about five minutes. Just make sure the microcard is for a camera, drone etc..You'll see the requirements on the literature that comes with the camera but ignore that it has to be FAT32 format when you purchase it, You can format it to FAT32 after. I've attached some pics of the day and two night modes mentioned above, I've also attached the microSD card that I purchased.

This camera was a pleasant surprise. When I originally bought it, it was to be used only until I had bought a wired camera to use for surveillance via wifi. The surprise came in how easy setup was and how amazingly crisp the video stream was. The camera is very light and very large. Surprisingly large, but I now know why that is. The motor and all the internals need all that space. I love how when you first plug it in the lights light up in what looks like a little face - eyes and mouth - looking right at me. After setup the camera will self adjust and just....WORKS. So awesome! I liked it so much I bought a second one and may possibly buy a third. What started out as a stand-in for a better camera became MY ACTUAL CAMERA! Love how the notifications send you a screenshot of the subject in question. The only thing I wish it had was a built in zoom function. I hate that when you snap a screenshot of the feed, you can only pinch to zoom and it loses all crispness in the process. STILL, I am going to give it 5 stars! This product truly deserves that!

In an effort to replace my wired cameras I begin researching wireless options when I came across the SYMYNELEC 2.4GHz Wireless WiFi Light Socket Security Camera. After looking at the comments from people that purchased this camera with respect to quality, features and price I decided to try one out. Much to my surprise the camera was delivered in 1 day. I will admit I was a little skeptical seeing that the price of this camera was quite low compared to other I had looked at. Upon opening the box, I was shocked at the quality of the camera. Installation was easy with instructions that were all too easy to follow. The camera was installed and working within 30 minutes. The video quality is crisp and clear. Once you download the "very easy to use app" you will discover features that allow you to view live feeds, get notified with motion and/or human detection, access recordings, all from your cellular phone. The cameras’ ability to rotate allows me to view my entire front yard and down the side of my house. The camera also has a 2way audio feature that comes in handy to talk to people that come up to the house. If you are looking for a wireless camera, I recommend this one, you won't be disappointed. I've ordered 2 more to put up on the other corners of my house.

I have two. Easy installation. Reliable once a strong 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is secured ("strength" needs to be 45% or greater, or the unit either disconnects or does not stream images or video) - Had to install an extender pod close by. Excellent HD picture during daytime, fair at night. IR is fair. Very sensitive noise detection - picks up chirping insects. Motion detection - detecting humans approaching from the side at right angles or slightly behind the front-facing camera and > 8 ft away is unpredictable, and tacking motion is slow—an important reason for 4☆ instead of 5. Detection range - approx 15 (at dusk) ~ 18 ft (daytime). Could not test in the night because of the motion-triggered flood lights nearby. Siren is loud and 30 sec long - probably good enough to scare mammals away. Does not work with a certain dimmer switch (works with a particular Lutron Original Smart switch but not with a Claro Smart switch due to the strobe effect). Longevity is unclear - one unit would not respond to the surveillance area setting and was replaced by Amazon.
