I was happy when this arrived and started on the first pull. I immediately put it to work and cut up a fallen tree branch and some additional wood. No piece was larger than 6 inches. The saw went through the wood well and didn't have any issues. I used it for one day for about 3 hours, and then it just stopped working. I checked the chain oil and gas. Both are full. Saw just stopped working. Won't start anymore. Save yourself the hassle. Don't go cheap on a chainsaw. I am returning this one.

Shipping was fast. This saw does rip well. However, first time tightening chain and the tensioner made of plastic broke. Had to modify saw. It still works but can't get the most of the chain. Hope seller can replace parts

Had to go buy a new chain because the one that came with it was defective - other chains don't fit it though. Amazon isn't letting me return it either. Useless piece of plastic

After installing the chain and bar and adjusting the tension per the instructions, I began to cut. The sauce was cutting very well, but I noticed it’s starting to bog down. I readjusted the chain tension, but I thought that was odd. I began to cut again, and after a couple of cuts, it began to bog down again, and I noticed the chain was very loose. I removed the cover to see that the chain adjustment assembly was broken and the screw for the chain tension had protruded through the back of the assembly and was pushing up against the break at this point I had only used the saw for about 30 minutes. I had burned one tank of gas.

Based on the maintenance schedule, you have to check the piston and rings at 50 Hrs., and replace if necessary. This would cost more than the price of the saw. Get the warranty. Also, the fuel mixture is 20:1 for the first 20 Hrs and 25:1 after that, so it smokes when you use it. Takes 92 or greater octane. I only will use it for light use, and would not buy again without the warranty. Poor fit on some of the parts
