I got this 58-piece kids’ microscope kit for my child, and it turned out to be a great way to spark their interest in science. The different magnification levels (100X–1200X) let them see hair, leaves, and small insects up close, which they think is amazing. The kit comes with plenty of accessories and prepared slides to get started right away. It’s definitely a beginner microscope, but for a child who’s just exploring, it’s perfect and keeps them busy in a fun, educational way.

Got this as a gift for my 10-year-old nephew. We had a blast looking at things together! The largest magnification is a little blurry, but I am happy with the quality considering the price. However, I did think it was a sharp scalpel in the box when I bought it, but it’s not, it’s a very cheap plastic scalpel And other utensils.

I bought this microscope for a grandchild a while back and it was a hit. Would not buy them for any child under eight due to all the small pieces. The grandchild and me immediately started to use this once opened. I poked my fingers to get a little blood to put on a slide. They were amazed by seeing that cells moved in the blood. We that found an ant and inspected the ant. We spent most of the afternoon finding and looking at items under the scope. She was excited about this. I would recommend that an adult was present to use this if the child is under twelve or so. I like to buy gifts that are not based on a computer type products. Learning to use and see what is around the world without having a screen in your face is preferred in my opinion.
