Had it almost a year now only needed a a couple hand full of times but it works great only complaint is the remote signal is week I tried new batteries in the remote still same result...if it loses connection with the remote while it's being used it takes a second for it to turn back off even though I'm not pushing the button anymore.... I definitely recommend using the wired button for more control... Also I mounted mine to a removable hitch mount on my truck for pulling dead cars on my tow dolly so I don't leave it outside but it's already started to rust the bar the goes across the drum ... show more

No way this wench pulls 5500 lbs. It works great, just doesn’t have the capacity advertised. I definitely put it to the test when I used it to pull my two safes (separately) into a trailer to move them. We had to give the wench help to get them up the ramp. One was on wheels and the other on rollers. On the positive side, it worked well. I didn’t burn it out, and the remote and manual controls worked perfectly. ... show more
