The Donmende car freezer is a great investment for people who frequently go on road trips or camping. If you need a reliable and efficient portable cooling unit, this product is highly recommended. Do consider though, if you need both refrigeration and freezing simultaneously, this may not be the product for you.
I have been really impressed with the value of this product. It worked for almost two and half years and had no issues. It's got a light inside and is fairly quiet. I really like the dual zone capability (if you add containers to one side) it comes with a nice basket that makes adding and removing items very simple. For the price it really is a great value, and I highly recommend it. The best thing by far is that the BLUETOOTH really works well, and it gives you all the info you need to manage it easily. I recently had one fail on me, and I have bought a number of them to use in my Trailer builds for many customers. The size is perfect for my purposes. The weight is also very reasonable. It stopped getting cold, and when I reached out to customer service they were very attentive. This alone is worth the price. But when I was unable to get it working again, they agreed to replace it without charge, and now i have a new one, and it also came VERY QUICKLY. I received it yesterday after just a few days. I was stunned to find it sitting there on my porch!!! So nice. Like Christmas had come early. THANK YOU PHILOGAME. Well done!!!

Edit after over one year of use. Great little fridge. Gets cold and stays cold. Easy to clean and maintain and pretty energy efficient although it doesn’t work very well through the cigarette lighter port. In my solar powered van, I’ve got it hard wired to a capacitor and it functions very well but when i had it plugged into a vehicle cigarette lighter or a standard outlet on my solar it would trigger the low voltage alarm if not actively charging. Works great run off of 110v and hard wired to 1 farad capacitor. This seems to be a pretty good product. I’ve noticed a few things? Based on other reviews and my own experience. 1) this unit draws power when it cools. You need to have a good power source. If the voltage indicator goes below 11.8 you will get a fault code and it will stop. If you have small wire, or a long run to your outlet, try running a bigger wire or plugging it in closer to the power source. 2) I’ve seen users complain that their unit suddenly stopped working. There is a fuse right under the power inlet. If your unit fails, check the fuse. There is about 6 degrees of temp fluctuation on this unit. No big deal. Decent price, decent size.. I’ll update it to 5 stars if i get at least a year out of it.

I’m really impressed with this little fridge! It runs quietly, keeps everything cold and fresh, and has plenty of space for all my groceries—perfect for camping or use in the garage. Setup was easy, and it started working right away without any issues. Highly recommended if you're looking for a reliable and efficient compact refrigerator.

Packaging of product was excellent. During the past 2 weeks, the freezer has performed perfectly. I had to do some trial and error on setting the temperature. It is outside but protected from weather and sun. The outside temperature has fluctuated between 85 and 92°. After some experimentation, I have set the temperature control at 29°. Over a day, it reports a fluctuation of approximately 4°. This is in keeping with what home refrigerators fluctuate. I currently have it plugged into 110 as I have not finished setting up my solar. I found that it cooled down very very quickly. Going from 82° to 30° in less than 30 minutes. That was a nice surprise. I have rated this four because I am plugged into 110 and will update this review after I get the solar array complete and the freezer on true 12 volt.

Super efficient! I have this hooked to a solar panel with battery in the middle and it is working out perfectly. I am thrilled. I live off grid except for my fridge being plugged in to the local monopoly incompetent dirty energy (coal burning ones still) power company, and would love to be totally done with them. I installed this at a rental cabin as an experiment when the propane fridge (dirty energy) died. It was only three years old and as I was looking through the manual trying to figure out how to fix it, it said that they only last about three years! If I has known that... Anyhow, I decided it was time to try going off grid with clean energy with a fridge. And it's working beautifully. And it was (before huge tariffs) half the price I paid for the smaller size propane fridge. AND I contacted the company to ask some questions about hooking it up to solar and they were super helpful! A win win all the way around. Totally recommend this fridge. Oh, but I put in a little shelf (that folds up) in the basket because it seemed that would be very helpful. A lot of wasted space above, or loss of air flow without the shelf.

I looked and researched for weeks prior to purchase. Needed a cooler, that could perform for a week or more without having to leave camp for ice. I camp off road in backwater areas in the south with high humidity and harsh summers. With two camping trips so far I am very happy with this purchase. The cooler holds temp even with high 90's temps so far, and my single battery on off road camper does not drain during a long sleep without any source of replenishment. The housing does sweat slightly in higher temps if adjusted to almost freezing levels, but manages to maintain internal temps. The size is sufficient to maintain a week or so of groceries for two adults (we use separate cooler for drinks), and no soggy mess after a day or so from melting ice. This cooler lives a demanding and rough life with us, if it lasts one year I will be content, if it lasts two I will be very impressed. When being used it is outdoors, although it is elevated by a table to keep off ground, and under a shelter to provide some shade and prevent rain damage. Pre chilled is recommended, but I have filled and allowed to cool down the evening before leaving for camp it does take some time to cool to set temp, but maintains it well once cooled. My only change has been adding an actual latch for the lid, the magnet just is not enough.
