I purchased two of these ceiling fans installed by the same appliance repairman. One works great and is very quiet. However the other one the dimmer light would not turn off and with the remote. I ignored it until it began making a clicking sound that got worse and then the fan wouldn’t rotate in the winter direction. My appliance repairman explained that the fan was faulty. I was specifically looking for a 52” fan with DC motor, light, remote and real wood blades. Not only did it fit the bill, but the price was great as well too. I kept my fingers crossed hoping I would like it. Everything met my expectations and more. It was very easy to install, I really liked the modular plugs they have to plug in the remote’s receiver in canopy, which made it easier to install. While I like the look of the 3 blades, I was concerned it wouldn’t move enough air, but it definitely moves enough air while being quiet and remaining balanced. I bought this for my sunroom office back in Dec ‘23. It’s been a great fan and whisper quiet, which I very much appreciate. After about 18 months, the light stopped working. Fan still worked, but the light would not come on. I took the light fixture apart, and could see where the power connection had come away from the LED board. I reached out to customer service, and they were very helpful in troubleshooting. After a couple exchanges and pictures, they agreed to send a new LED board. Good and responsive customer service. The LED board they sent out must have been for a slightly different or updated model, so the holes for the screws didn’t line up properly and the screws were too short to re-attach the light to the fan. But drilling 3 new holes was easy, and lucky me, I happened to have some slightly longer screens of the same size around. Only took about an hour to replace the LED board and now the light works great again. My only con for this ceiling fan is the 2 second delay between flipping my wall switch and the light coming on. Always makes me question (for 2 seconds) that something isn’t working right. ... show more

It works, but...... TLDR: install is painful, light output is sad, much smaller than expected, beep is super loud and annoying. Details: Install is a 2-3 man job. The connectors are too large to slip through the pipe at the end due to the bolt going through it. It's not meant to be installed in US electric boxed, more like universal design. You do not get the proper screws to install to a US work box. The stupid unnecessary electric connection box is maddening. It goes under Install as it is easily 3x bigger than it needs to be and makes everything a hassle. Operation: Fan is quiet......until you change the setting or turn the light on, then it has a fire alarm level beep that is totally unnecessary. The light color temp changer does not need to be on the remote as a part of the on off, just put it on a switch inside the light cover. You will constantly be changing the color by turning it on and off too fast. Light out put is weak and very spotlighty. I'm going to have to use a lamp or 2 in the room additional. There is a delay to it starting to spin, it makes you wonder, then it goes, building drama I guess? Design: In a word, terrible. The only redeeming points I have to give is the blade design looks more like a real propeller, not squared off like others I had seen in the stores. Again the stupid wiring box, why so big? Why wires for it so short? why so loud? Why connectors so large, why, why, why!? The fan is too small for the space despite up sizing what I thought I needed. Not sure where they measured it but I would recommend up sizing what you think you need. I got the 52, should have gotten the 60 for a bedroom. Would I buy it again, absolutely not. Should you buy it, well, ask yourself, how much do you actually hate yourself. If it is a lot, then yes. Overall, low build quality, poor design, mediocre execution. Not a value for price paid. I have little faith it lasts long before I just bite the bullet and throw it out for a better quality unit. It may even quit on me before that, judging on the thought behind the install design. Make no mistake this is of lesser quality than big box store fans, and they are not that great. ... show more
