I was somewhat surprised at the small box that it came in, but the design of the fan allows for it to be packed more efficiently. The packing for the fan was well done and I received it with no damage at all. After unpacking the parts, I found the assembly to be very straightforward. The blades with the mounts must be put together first and attached to the motor. When attaching the downrod to the motor, I put both endcaps on the rod first, then threaded the wires into the rod and pulled them out at the top. If you haven’t discovered lever wiring connectors yet, do yourself a favor and buy some. They are so much better and easier to use than the wire nuts that now I just throw the included nuts away now. After installing the ceiling bracket to the electrical box, the remote receiver simply wires in with 2 wires using the lever connectors and slides into the bracket. I really like that the remote receiver uses a wiring harness to connect the fan and light kit. To complete the installation, I lifted the assembled fan and hung the downrod ball to the ceiling bracket. After connecting the remote receiver with the quick connects to the fan and light kit, I tucked the wires into the electrical box. The ceiling cover slides to the top and twists in and is secured with screws. The remote is simple and makes sense, a nice departure from the overly complicated remotes that come with most ceiling fans these days. There are 6 separate buttons for fan speeds, buttons to change the light colors, and buttons to reverse the fan direction. The fan is well balanced and does not wobble at any of the speed settings, so I did not need to use the balancing kit. It seems to move a lot of air, especially at the highest speed setting. Overall, I think this is a very good ceiling fan, especially with its low price if you apply the coupon. It has clean look that fits in well with almost any décor. I opted to use the wood side of the blades, so it is somewhat flexible as far as changing the look of the fan by reversing the blades. It looks good and works well, which is nice for such an inexpensive price.

This fan was easy to assemble if you take the time to read and follow directions. As a woman, I do find ceiling fans difficult to install because they can be somewhat heavy. That said, the sleep, modern feel to this one made it feel less heavy and easier to install. I like the simplicity of this fan. It replaced a giant, hulk of a mess and this looks so much better. It is also quite functional. Don't let the small package size fool you. They packed a lot into a tiny box. We highly recommend.

I replaced a ceiling fan in my bedroom which was a traditional 5 blade fan that was very old. I wasn't sure I would like the 3 blade fan but am very happy with this product. It was easy to install and hang the fan and it looks great. I like the remote control that allows you to change fan direction and fan speed and control the light. I am going to purchase more to install in my other bedrooms.

I like that it cools the room without even noticing that it's there. This is a small fan, so I wouldn't recommend it if you want it for a big room, but for a small home office it is perfect.

When the box first arrived, I was concerned with the size and thought maybe I received the wrong product until opening the box and seeing how this was packed. No broken parts as this was packed well. This fan is replacing a 48” ceiling fan. Assembly was straight forward for the most part (someone else installed) and included everything that was needed. The fan is installed on a vaulted ceiling so we used the long downrod. Due to our décor, the walnut side of the blades were used. The installation negative would be the blade assembly instructions for the bracket. Instructions indicate the bracket is marked with the word up however, stickers were covering this word indicating down. As far as the product itself I would say the lamp cover could be a little better quality. The fan seems to be balanced and did not need to use the balancing kit. So far the fan has been very quiet. The remote is pretty simple. There are 6 buttons for the different fan speeds. You can change the light with the remote from cool white (5700K) to warm white (3000K) to natural white (4000K). The best part is being able to reverse the direction of the blades with the remote. The prior fan did not have a remote and reversing the blades meant getting a pole or ladder to switch since it is on a vaulted ceiling. So far this seems to be a pretty decent fan for the low price. It is a simple look and could be used with different décor styles.

I've slowly been replacing the ceiling fans throughout our house. I needed a more farmhouse looking fan for a particular bedroom and this one came through. I've installed dozens and dozens of fans and this one was as expected for a DC motor fan. Not more difficult or easier than the average. The hardest part with these fans is getting the transformer to fit into the enclosed cover against the ceiling. Assembly took about an hour including taking down the old fan. Didn't need to balance the blades and I'm happy with how it turned out.
