Not at all happy with this fan. First the installation directions were bad. It suggested putting the fan together first then wiring it. Luckily the person who installed it was an expert and knew better. The second thing wrong is you can’t turn of the fan without turning off the lights too. There is only one power button. Also at the lowest fan setting I feel like I am in a wind tunnel. I am so unhappy with this I want to get a different fan but it’s not that easy to do since it is already installed. ... show more

This fan is the quietest I've ever owned! It has a variety of speeds and light colors. I have a great room (dining/living room) and it is large enough and moves enough air to cool this large space. So quiet. I like the fact that the remote can change the fan direction for the seasons (summer/winter). All my other fans had a switch on the fan and I had to use a ladder twice a year to change the fan direction. It is a clean, simple design that I like and it goes with my room and fixture colors. Everything seems pretty good but a couple of things may need to be improved: (1) the power of the fan is not strong enough for outdoor uses and there is no need of 6 levels fan powers, 3 levels should be good enough for most cases; (2) the hangging rod is a little bit short for high ceiling uses, should have up to 24" options for the hangging rod. ... show more

    • You can’t turn JUST the fan off

Couple things I don’t like. The fan’s low speed is too high in my opinion. There are 6 speeds and the low speed starts out about like medium speed on a 3 speed fan. With 6 low should be a crawl. This fan moves some serious air if that’s what you’re after. The other thing I don’t like is there is no off button on the remote for just the fan. Why? There is a button that turns both the light and the fan off at once, but not just the fan. When you first turn the fan on it rotates in winter mode for a second, then reverses to summer. Strange. I love the look of this fan, and it can move a lot of air. Whisper quiet with a DC motor. Remote is a big plus and the LED light is very bright, not like some fans I've seen.

We have a house in the south and have 7 interior ceiling fans and 2 outdoor as well. We have slowly started replacing as the old ones are just old and wobbly. I bought this DC motor version for outside as I have the ABS blades and trying out the motor design vs the old style still being used. These are by far the quieter and have far more power speeds as well. The light is really nice but only time will De ide if the led style lasts well outside. Definitely recommend this unit ... show more
